Preping miners for hulkagaddon.

If miners buy 1 deadspace officer shield boost and fit it they will be able to tank the destroyers suicide gank or smartbombing BS

All you points are excellent info, but point A shows that you do not either mine in a group nor mine with an Orca. For both you need to be static and passive allignment does not work.

Done both and was aligned the whole time. Tractors make it easy.

I cannot tell you what you should do, but I can tell you what you shouldn't be doing.


  • AF-*******-K: Seriously, stop doing that.
  • Fitting a Warp-Core Stabilizer: It won't work. A fleet of destroyers or battlecruisers will no doubt have each one of their ships fitted with a warp scrambler. One scram alone is a bit much for a single WCS to overcome. Imagine at least 3-5 scram ships.
  • Active Shield Tanking: The cycle time of a shield booster is too slow to compensate for the massive alpha damage.
  • Mining at or near trade hubs and pirate havens: Unless you enjoy the risk, don't be dwelling in these places.
  • Docking: Without your tears to harvest, CCP's hamsters will not be thoroughly hydrated.

I do believe that Helicity has been MIA for a while, hence why we have little about Hulkaggedon other than rumors (and boy there are a ton of those).

Yes, and they will continue to do so until the production aspect of the game is eliminated and all goods are purchased from NPC vendors.
