Anyone in the USA that lives in the state of Wisconsin, I would be interested in hosting a gathering in a central location in the state, to find some more EVE players in my area.

Hey All, just wanted to say we have confirmed a weekend....

A few of us are meeting up the second weekend in May (the 11-13). Haven;t nailed down a time or palce, but would love to have some more pilots.

Anyone in Southeast Wisco or north Chicago, if you care to meet up, msg me in game. I will be assisting the organization and hosting.

Hey all quick update.

Looking at meeting up in Bay View, Milwaukee (SE Side) on Saturday, May 12th. As we've had a few more interested, we are planning the meetup location and possible pub crawl/nerd out venue.

So far we have 4 confirmed and 3 additional possibles. If the get to be more than 12 confirmed, I'll probably look into booking a small hall or something, but so far we are looking at some informal gathering places around Bay View.

Again, feel free to msg me or Janus in game. I will try to send out a semi-official update at the end of the month.

While I don't hail from cheeseland... (FIB, actually).. I do live near enough to the Jelly Belly factory to smell all that nasty cheese coming from your state and I wouldn't mind sharing in some of that delicious Wisconson beer with you guys.

Hey all,


So I've recieved a total of 14 possbiles, from players and their "extras." I will be talking to a bar in Bay View I know quite well, to see if I can get them to open an hour earlier (4:00 PM) to let us chill for a few hours till it gets busy. It's a huge spot, with couches and stuff.

If they are cool with it, I will re-post a new "official" thread with location, time and date information next week. This is my first time organizing somethign like this, so I apologize if it seems a bit disjointed :). Also, again if the venue is ok with it, I will send out a RSVP letter to all the possibles asking for a 90% confirm, becuase I think I can nail us some drink specials, too :)

Well, I am really excited for this. The date works out well for 4 of my guys. We should set up a time to meet online and discuss details and plans. For instance, do we actually plan on playing any EVE? lol.

Looks like we are going to have a decent initial get together... and Don, I must live right by you, because I live in Bristol, right over the boarder of ILL.. so if you are smelling the Jelly Belly factory, means you are in Antioch, or maybe Zion? Let me know.. being that close, we can do some crazy EVE stuff in person more often... I dont have any close friends or associates other then my wife to play EVE with.. (Yes wife plays Eve.. I'll be trying to make my way there and see if I can get some of the local Goons too. We have people in Appleton, Madison, Milwaukee off the top of my head (and possibly grab some of the Minnesota people, it's not THAT far). Goons generally don't read this forum past trolling, so they won't see it otherwise.

(I ran into Khanish on the bus from the Reykjavik Airport. Travel thousands of miles to meet people who live an hour away).

I just hosted a 'Goonp' Goon meet in February with 40 or so players, including some people flying in from DC, Detroit, CA... I'm based in Madison.

Lol, and everyone, contrary to the in-game rep of the goons, she's super cool **** :) Glad you can make it!
