If by research you mean:
Manufacturing, Invention, ME/PE Research, Copying etc. Then it already does it (It's included in the Industry Jobs Tool)
Tip: If you don't see your research jobs, you might need a corporation API Key

If by research you mean:
Research Agents - Then I'm sorry to tell you that it's out of the scope for jEveAssets
On a side note: You can use EveMon to check your research agents...

1) Best asset/ship/module is mostly there for fun. I don't know what anyone would use it for, other than the awesome factor?
Also, the price data is not perfect. It's estimates, at best. So, best everything is also an estimate.

I'm sure most people get that: best = most expensive (what other merit would you use to evaluate, than price - in a values tool?)

Including fittings to best ship, would only make it less accurate. Even more so if it had faction modules fitted. (As faction modules are not included in the standard price data)

The most valuable station can easily be found in the overview tool.

2) Freezing:
a) I suggest you get the latest version of Java
b) Could you explain a bit more what happens when it freeze? Is the whole program unresponsive or is it just the values tool etc.

it reports that I have assets in Ahkour IX - Moon 18 - Quafe Company Warehouse, but I do not have any items / sellorders /buyorders or anything else there.

The same problem happens in Azghabid III - Moon 5.

Is there a way to import the raw XML files (as downloaded from the API server)?

I would like to load in old XML files I have saved to look at older snapshots of my assets. Also, I would like to load in XML files in places where I do not have an Internet connection.

No, that is not possible (in an easy way at least).

The only workaround I can think of is:
To have a local http server (like xampp) with the xml files and using the API Proxy setting in jEveAssets.

after I restarted jE and reloaded the api a few times those assets disappeared.

However I am trying to set up a big stockpile list for a small project i want to try.

how do I exactly have to set up the filters for the stockpile that it will count sellorders aswell, since it does not count the stations that have a stock requirement of x that have 0 in the hangar but x up as a sellorder at station towards the "in stock"?

(the sellorders are corp-sellorders, not character sellorders - could this be a problem)

ofc first off great tool, i mainly like the save-able filter options and great pricing integration with eve-central.

I would like to have columns that shows the system, region of the price min sell/max buy. So basically i don't have to lookup each item via Eve-Central manually. This helps to simply group items to possible sell regions.

I also would like the option to manually reset/refresh the asset list. I move items frequently around between chars/corps to group for sell operations and the very long refresh time for asset's makes this very uncomfortable.
