So i figure this should be a good place to get an answer, maybe even from a dev P

For a uni module i have setup two Windows 2K8 servers running IIS7, and configured into a cluster, they have been setup with the following details:

Cluster
IP: 192.168.0.200

Server1
Network Card 1, IP: 192.168.0.201
Network Card 2, IP: 192.168.0.203
IIS 7 Installed binded on 192.168.0.201

Server2
Network Card 1, IP: 192.168.0.202
Network Card 2, IP: 192.168.0.204
IIS 7 Installed binded on 192.168.0.202

edit: In the NLB manager both the servers show as converged

I can access each webserver on 0.201 and 0.202, but i need to know what my next steps for testing are, Wcat seems to be an option but having never used it before im not sure what to be looking for

cheers

Heya, sorry I'm not gonna be much help
Just gonna bump this thread up because I'm also looking into NLB, however I'd like to know if it's possible on windows 7

I'm using 2x USB 4G modems, and I'd really like to be able to increase my bandwidth to mitigate shaping

There should be a rather awesome pic here

Well since you're trying to cluster, test the cluster's ip, not the individual servers, then turn one of them off and see if it continues to operate normally.

And yes, wcat would be a good test for performance.
You should also look into N-Stalker to see what would happen with someone trying to hack your servers/application and if it will kill the cluster or not.
