What exactly does it mean ?

It would appear during the night 8 corps have surrendered to our war, and they were all members of Legion of xxdeathxx.

Now, in now way am I saying that we drove them to that because all we ever got off them was one podkill and they have remained very evasive.

So, does this just mean that 8 corps suddenly decided to leave the alliance for whatever reason, and CONCORD sends us a mail about it anyway ?

Edit : Also what does it imply to surrender to a war ? It basically means the fighting is over in 24 hours, that's all ? Isn't that a bit lame ?

That is correct.

The minute a corp leaves and alliance at war, they automatically surrenders to the aggressor and the 24 hour countdown ensues.

You do realize that Legion was fail cascading because of the Russian civil war and related events right? The alliance has shed basically all its corps.

IMO, and this is just wild baseless speculation on my part, Legion and Shadow and RA are all having problems because they have lost too many members to being banned for RMT and botting. I know it sounds crazy, so don't lose your minds, but last time I trawled Perrigen Falls it was wall-to-wall botting Nyxs, and now there's none.
