I am trying to decide which race to go with for a new POS chain.

In the past I've always used caldari POS's, however with the current market it seems that caldari fuel is much more expensive then other races. I am currently thinking Galente since their control towers are cheaper and the fuel is cheaper.

Do you think this trend will stay or will caldari return to being the cheapest POS to run?

Caldari control towers have the most CPU, so it is the most popular for industry,

Pick a control tower for the job.

I wouldn't worry about fuel costs, as they vary so much over time. Heck, Gallente isotopes were the previous highest, and before that Minmatar. Amarr have had the least expensive isotopes for a long time, though they have the worst towers for industry.

In hisec I wouldn't use anything other than a Caldari myself.

EDIT: And stockpile fuel so you don't get affected by fuel prices as much. I have 1 year of fuel blocks that cost me less to make than the current market prices.
