No, they can't. Because they're not omnipotent or whatever. If they indeed abuse their powers to harass you, then you're still free to petition it and they'll be a bit "harassed" themself. ;)

It is no more a violation of your privacy than you eating breakfast is a violation of my right to get an abortion.

I like isd's and think they bring their contribution for a better game, but I'm so sorry for them if I just don't see their convo or whatever, I might as well have something better or funnier to do or listen .

Lol, I wasn't trolling at all - as Tanya Powers mentioned earlier in this thread (I have just returned from work), if they really wanted to get in touch with me, they have my email address - they certainly don't have any problems bombarding me with a million and one questionnaires and surveys!

They are probably contacting you for a reason, find out what the reason is and it will probably stop,
if not, petition till your fingers turn numb from clicking and a gm might contact you in the same way.

Greetings pilots, I’m CharginMoose a team lead of ISD: STAR. STAR is one of two teams permitted to operate on TQ, and interact with its residents. This thread was brought to my attention by a member of my team, I’ve read through this thread and the other linked by the OP.

STARs role on TQ is help moderate the help channels, as well as provide help to those in the channels. We also help new pilots in what we call a Meet and Greet (MnG). These are private conversations that are done one on one to help new pilots better understand the game or address any issues they have. Outside of a MnG it is rare that we have private conversations and it is typically people requesting to have one with us. In cases where we do open a private conversation it is typically to help explain a topic or questions that we have seen in a help channel.

My biggest concern reading through this thread is that the OP gave zero context to the conversation that was opened, or if there even was one that was opened with themself. It looks more like the OP is picking about something because they can. The issue here is that it opened a can of worms upside down for nothing more than speculation. Instead the focus has been shifted to the ISD as being some kind of supreme evil overlords. We are players of the same game as you and we enjoy it like you. The difference is that we have decided to contribute our time to the community that makes EVE so great.

CCP’s Internal Affairs team watches over not only the ISD accounts but our player account(s) as well. I assure you that the members of the ISD conduct their duties as a volunteer without bias. If an individual of the ISD is found abusing their volunteer position CCP will take the appropriate actions. No ISD team has the ability to ban anyone from any server, or forum. CCP internal teams handle all of that. If you feel that an individual of the ISD has overstepped or wronged you feel free to file a petition.
