Industry, building, mining and the like is something that I have never actually taken part of while in Eve but have started preparing for over the last few months. Training characters and the like.

So my aim is to produce carriers and then eventually Supers. I know, aiming high.

My main question.

Ignoring the skill/character needs. How much ISK would I be looking to invest in order to build the above.

How much would I need to invest to kick start the production of one super?

cost alone your looking at 20 billion for the materials in a super

you'll also need a pos well protected for the production

BPC;s packs can be bought for 1.5 - 2 billion

You need a pos well protected, with steady sov, and access to large quantities of minerals. Not really something solo people just do for giggles. Caps you can but not supers really. It's really a corp cost or alliance.

Alright, thanks for the replies so far.

It's not something I'm looking to start tomorrow but hoping to get moving by the end of the summer as my characters still need a little bit more training time until they have all the needed skills.

In regards to your comments about protection, good point and one I've already considered and started exploring.

25 billion in materials and you're going it aloneQuestionAttentionShocked

As stated, you might wanna try standard caps first ...

One of the bitter points of a good bittervet is the realisation that all those SP don't really do much, and that the newbie is having much more fun with what little he has. - Tippia
