It's been a long time since I last released an EVE video. The last release was Intent, which felt massively sub-par for the type of video it was supposed to be.

A lot's happened ingame since then though, and I joined Pandemic Legion at the start of 2011. I've collected a fair amount of fraps over the last year, but most of it is either poor quality (low-end Rig) or boring and dull to watch. All of it is a vastly different style of PVP to what I normally release, with it being large fleets and/or Supercapital kills.

Perhaps at some point over the next few months I'll collect enough footage to release a showcase of our Supercap kills from the last year.

Anyhow, we (PL) had the opportunity yesterday toget the drop on a Red Alliance Supercapital fleet.. I happened to be online at the time, and rolled fraps - so this video is a direct byproduct of that.

Huge thanks to Jalif for the opening art. I've much <3 for his work.

EVE Files: < Coming Later today>

The Youtube quality is awesome, full 1080p and there's no noticeable quality loss over the original encoding. Seems the encoding issues I've been plagued with for the last 5 years have finally sorted themselves out. \o/

Size: 573mb
Duration: 09:35

Once the downloadable version becomes available - you'll need to play it via VLC. Windows Media Player causes the video to crash around the 07:30 mark.

Feedback is, as always - most welcome.

It's been a while since I've played with any degree of regularity, so I'll admit that I'm a little rough around the edges.

You will see in this video:

* Bad Piloting (Too slow at entering a ff password, let's run my ship into a forcefield instead)
* Bad Cap Management (Cap Boosted myself to 100% on at least two occasions by mistake whilst cycling MWDs/Neuts - in hindsight this was due to me pinging IRC for more people to login ¬.¬)
* Bad Gunnery (Switching target away from a Primary by mistake for 2-3 cycles).

You will not see:

* A multitude of fights. This particular video covers one engagement yesterday evening.
* A plethora of ship types used.

If it wasn't for the terribad music, I'd like this. :)

Thanks pony, you've done something useful... made me want to play again.

I wish I had the time/energy to go back to doing the solo stuff, but lowsec doesn't really lend itself to running around in a multi-billion ISK battleship anymore, and you end up with a huge sign over your head saying 'insert capitals here please'. I'm well aware from my current corp/alliance just how eager we'd be to drop on such a target, and the lengths that we'd go to do it. P

Found that out when I lost a Vindicator last January, undocked from a station with a couple of hostiles outside who were all 'oooh, shiny' and then undocked a Carrier right after I'd aggressed.

Not a complaint, just an observation about the direction the game has taken, what with capital proliferation and power creep (that happens in every MMO). P

Nice kills but unless I'm missing something, it's basically orbit anchor (some early bumping), lock titan and f1...

Nice, a PL video. I will download it ones it's on eve files.
I hope it will be on the same level as other PL videos such as ByrdsOfPrey.mp4 or abasbabsbadasda.wmv (No idea about the real name, or who made it)
Edit: Still no eve files link?

I've had a few issues with uploading it to EVE Files (have a really crappy broadband connection at home).

Going to see if I can resolve that over the weekend, apologies for the delay.

No. :/ My internet connection just times out to EVE Files after a couple of hours whenever I try to upload it.

Going to see if I can sort something out, but rest assured I haven't forgotten about this.
