What to do in EVE?

I usually login, then sit around in Hek, doing nothing for 2 hours, then realize I'm doing nothing then log off.

Sometimes I look for miners to canflip, but I can't find many.

Missioning is boring as balls and I just lost my mael to a damn scramming rat, so now I am pissed at missioning.

-Grab a frigate or other cheap throw away bucket and plot a course to a back end system in null. Fly blind and see what happens and what could be up for grabs.
Basicly do things that arent 'productive' but could have a better entertainment factor.

The problem with most sandbox games, most people that can't get into it or don't know what to do, lacks Imagination.

Sandbox games relies on the person to make the game for themselves, most can't do that and requires a set of "Go Hear do That" type game play system to feel like they are accomplishing things.

Get creative, make your game.

I find RvB relaxing personally.

Null Sec was fun as well.

The uncomfortable truth about EVE is that if you pull yourself together with a small group of players in Highsec who do little else but PvE solo there isn't much content. Most things that don't involve NPC's, Asteroids or Jets Cans take place in groups. I just quit RvB and my next move personally is back to Null Sec.

Some things you can do.

* Roam Low Sec
* Move to Null Sec
* Move to or Roam Wormholes
* Wardec People or join a Corp that does it.

Really if your Corp doesn't actively run the kind of group game play you want then chances are you need a new Corp. A lot of people are happy doing Lvl 4's and Mining all day but if you aren't one of them then you just won't have fun in EVE in that Corp. Or at least will have so little that you feel the need to post a thread about it.

I did Hi-Sec Exploration for a while which occupied my time. You might try that while you think of what to do.

I was/am in the same boat i did some trading on the market to get some isk together, then bought a ton of ships went to low sec and got smashed into oblivion, most excellent fun and would highly recommend it.

Have now joined R-v-B in an attempt to 'learn' some peeveepee skills so that i can go back out there and lose slightly less ships, and begin tasting these tears people keep going on about

Not much, this is the most boring game ever but i just cant let it go...
it is weird.

Eve is what you make of it. It is as fun or as boring as you want it to be. I pay good money to log on so I make sure to get every cent of enjoyment that I can.

Motivation to play EvE won't come from those, it's your sandbox, only you can make something out of it.
