Hi,

I know there are A LOT of forum topics about that around, though i didnt find any recent information. So, here is a new WAHTIZ TEH BÄST SHIP EVIR ???????? thread.

I want to know your opinion on:

-whats the fastest lvl4 mission runner

-whats the safest lvl4 mission runner

-whats the best lvl4 mission runner on low sp

-whats the best lvl 4 mission runner over all

If your Salvaging at the same time the Golem, drawback is high skills and cost.

tengu is fastest, safest (as long as you're not stupid and don't over-pimp it), and best overall. drake or domi are best for people with low SP.

Dominix is sexy, and gets even better when you increase your skillpoints. I''ve used the same navy dominix for a long time and haven't had any issues. I only do about 650 dps with my t2 sentries, but it's never been inadequate.

Tengu with t2 heavies makes quick work of them, but I don't feel it's really worth the price.

The answers to these questions depend on the following mission properties:
1) The faction you face.
2) The ratio of high sig/low sig ships.
3) The orbit range and initial distance of the opposition as well as gate distance.
4) Whether you plan on looting everything, blowing everything up for bounties or just blitzing.
5) The amount of ISK you're willing to spend on your ship (and implants).

So basically there are too many variables to give a definitive answer. Ask a specific question and I will attempt to answer it.
If you're looking for a ship that can run all missions reasonably fast irrespective of faction that limits the answer to Caldari missile ships like the Tengu, Raven Navy Issue and Golem because of selectable damage type. However these ships are vastly inferior to for example the Vargur when it comes to killing Angels. It's all about using the right tool for the job. For example the Golem will generally beat every other ship out there when it comes to clearing Worlds Collide Gu/Se (when properly fitted and using an MWD), but its slow locking and low damage versus frigates make it inferior to the Tengu when clearing Guristas Extravaganza.

Ive been running lv4's in a drake for a while now and ever since i got full t2 tank (wich imo is really low sp) i havent had any reason at all to choose missions, as long as you dont go full derp mode and try to hit as many triggers as possible in a row you're mor than fine, you can even get away with multiple waves in a few missions, allthough not all the waves most of the times.
However i can still sign the part where drakes take 3 eternities and a weekend to run lv4 missions in :b

on a sidenote my support tanking skills is a complete mess because of a premature perc/will remapp, jus barely hit t2 modules, still doing ok.

Less tank and more gank on the drake and it will do much better.

What kind of "gank" would you put in all those med slots?

Maybe a TP, but that's about it.

Depends on the mission. Golem can blitz Damsel in under two minutes, interceptor for recon 1, 2, and 3 (use a Crow with an MSE for 3,) MWD Arty Mach for Dread Pirate, IIRC Tengu to blitz Angel Blockade, etc..

Probably a MWD Mach. It has the best combination of firepower, speed, and agility with "omni" damage.

It's not about the mids -- more BCSs in the lows instead of SPRs. And/or rig for gank instead of tank.
