Can we just get to the part where we can buy skillpoints already?

For the low low low price of a titan, you too can have every skill maxed out in eve.

A game with no progression is a boring game to be honest,

Why do you think I quit playing Global Agenda? i capped out all 4 classes at lvl 50 already.

Dust 514's CPM 1 Iron Wolf Saber Eve mail me about Dust 514 issues.

Seriously.. let me remap my skills for like 20$ or buy a few million SP or something. Its gonna happen sooner or later, and I'd just like it to happen sooner.

No, I do not want to buy your crappy recycled character with a sh**ty track/employment record and even worse name.

Why buy sp when you buy game time to wait for your sp to grow, eather way ccp wins.. :D

but seriously the waiting for trainin skills is a big part of the game, just sit it out like the rest of us have...

been playing 4 years now and I am still not where i want to be so just stick with it.. :d

No, NO!! NOOOOO!!!

A large part of the Eve experience - to me - is the involvement in training skills.
You start buying skill points then Eve becomes pointless,
You work hard, play hard and reap the rewards.
Being able to buy skillpoints would dilute all of that.

Totally stupid suggestion, Mr. Op, and this thread should go in to the "Totally Stupid Ideas" Thread posted under "Nihillum".

NO!

Waiting 2 years for your skills to be completed is not hard work.

Let me point out a few things.

(1) I don't like that you're trolling.

(2) That will never happen, approved by players or CCP

(3) This is eve not fuc king World of Dumbcraft where a bunch of junior high girl compare pretty armor.

(4) The thing that make eve superior is that you have to work for what you get and not be just a lazy a ss buy off.

(5) So shut up , stop complaining. If you don't like it, go play SIMS, or Everquest or something.

I would like to keep the little bit of dignity that Eve has left.

1) Given the path that CCP is on, led by Hilmar, I see it as less of a troll and more of a distinct possibility in the future.

2) When has CCP ever asked the players approval for anything? (See #1)

3) There are only three real differences between Eve and WoW. Wow has a level cap and Eve doesn't, and Eve skill training is passive, while WoW is active. The last is glaringly obvious, and that is the setting.

4) How is training a skill in Eve considered work? I'm not even playing and my skill is training, it's that easy. Now figuring which skills to train, and to do so in an effective manner, that can be tricky. But skill training is as simple as pie. Try not to make it sound like you are feeding an entire third world country here.

5) I am afraid that your overly simplistic, and rather skewed view, is indicative of nothing more than a herd mentality.

Let me play devil's advocate for a moment, using a different medium within the Eve universe. I can go to a third party website and purchase 60 days worth of PLEX. I can then go and sell it on the Timecode Bazaar, making roughly 600 million (give or take, I haven't looked at what PLEX is worth these days) isk for roughly ten to twenty minutes worth of work. Essentially, I can create an isk printing machine as long as I have the real life funds to do so. While the medium is different, the end result is effectively the same. Yet PLEX for isk is fully acceptable, even though it is a barely concealed RMT scheme.

I am neither opposed nor will I lobby for Cash for SP, and the reason being is that just because someone buys SP, doesn't mean they know how to effectively allocate them. Short of some type of guiding hand, the only players that would be able to really utilize such methods are the veterans, the ones who already know how to play. The argument that Eve is hard, though, is pure rhetoric at its most elitist. As I have mentioned before, a fool can set a skill to train, but only someone who has spent time playing the game will know how to do so most effectively. Just like a newb racing to get into a BS without knowing how to fly or fit it, and possessing the bare minimum of skills to get in the BS, a SP buyer will be more dangerous to him or herself than anyone else until he or she finally experiences the epiphany that Eve is like a puzzle and begin to formulate how to put it together.

I don't entirely buy the argument concerning the character bazzar either. While I agree that it would be detrimental to that branch of Eve, I believe ultimately that more money would be spent in a Cash for SP manner than paying to transfer a toon. Of course, I am thinking $15 for a month's worth of SP here, nothing overly extravagant, just basically what you would get for playing for a month. Any other business model would be either a waste of time or totally moronic. CCP could possibly make more money in the long run with a model such as Cash for SP. This is why I think that it's not if something like this happens, but when.

Personally, I am totally agreeable to a one-time fee to be able to move SP around on your character sheet. I know the purists will tie me to the stake and light my a** up, but each and everyone of us has made a mistake or three on our first toons and would like to go back and fix it to how our current gamestyle is within the game. You may not admit it, but it's definitely more prevalent than is confessed to.

Please, no how, no way, never.

You have no clue what you are talking about. You quite literally just farted and somehow managed to form words.
