Poll: Market data-driven sites, where are you hosting?

This question is primarily aimed at anyone with a market data-driven EVE site, but anyone that may be interested in developing such a site can also chime in. I'd like to know where you are hosted, to help in the planning stages of a real-time market data feed service.

The idea will be to get relay nodes in some of the most common providers' data centers. This make the bandwidth fees free to consumers, and save us all a boatload of money, since we'd only be paying for the initial Announcer->Relay broadcast.

So speak up market nerds. Even if this sounds like a boring/silly idea, humor me and let me know where you're hosted. For extra points, include the region/data center (IE: AWS, us-east-1, or Rackspace, Chicago.)

Thanks!

All of AWS. o/

On a more serious note, it's a distributed setup in Tokyo, US-East (Virginia), US-West (Oregon) and EU-West (Ireland).

EVE-Central is parked at a el-cheapo co-location outfit here in Sacramento, CA. Running on EC2, while allowing greater peaking capacity, would simply be far too expensive for the current hardware setup.

Bandwidth hasn't been too much of a problem for my usage - this includes replication via the mail service and all bazillion (ok, I kid, its only about 1mil) API calls per day.

There are quite a few el cheap-o ISPs here in Sacramento. I have built several of them, and currently own a Game Server Hosting Company in Sac... It is funny that considering where we are, it is dammed hard to get good internet without paying through the nose and other places in blood.

Thanks for sharing, even hearing the geographical locations has been useful in planning locations where we may need relays.

Eve Addicts is hosted by CloudVPS, a dutch VPS provider using datacenters in Amsterdam.

The VPS i'm using is nr. 3 if you open the configurator on their site.

Google App Engine. I don't know where it's hosted, but they say it runs on the same infrastructure as Google.

I design my own custom tools, usually excel for simple things, VPS linode in Fremont for complicated stuff.

As international as EVE Online is, I guess it is no surprise that I'm seeing a lot of different geographic areas represented. It sounds like we're going to need some relays in Europe, and the west coast of US at minimum. We'll probably need a Russian relay, as well.

I'm working on making the EMDR deploy process more simple, so we're a little way's away from being ready to accept relays. Please do keep letting me know your geographic areas, though. It'll help me know what regions I need to nag people in :)

I'm not currently hosting anything but I would say hosting on Amazon cloud with you're first server in East would be a good start as both US and Europe will have good connection to it and even the Aussies should have a ok connection with it. Another advantage with it is any new services they start offering are usually available there first then expand into the other regions. A reserved instance with them is about the same as hosting cost with many others since the latest pricing cuts took effect and from what I've seen so far you actually get what you pay for not just sometimes like most hosting sites seem to work because they overload their server for more $$.

We host our services out of http://www.latisys.com/data-center/chicago-colocation.html in Chicago and I love em. I looked into AWS but having the ability to spin up more VMs at will on my own hardware is awesome.
