Assuming I have an account with 3 Toons.

Each Toon has:

Production Efficiency V
Advanced Mass Production IV (10 Slots)
Advanced Laboratory Operation IV (10 Slots)

Can this account generate 600 mil in profit a month? ( -> be self supplying )

How much captial (ISK) would it need to dedicate to each character to supply its costs (buying minerals, maybe transporting them).

Yes. If you can figure out what to make that will give you that profit. The trick is figuring out what to make to achieve that and make enough extra to be worth running the account. Fortunately the accounts only need to make about 27k ISK/h on each factory line to do that (since there are 30 lines). It's all in the math.

You could also set each up with advance labs (level IV should be good enough) so each one is able to research BPO's for resale (or for their own use). Or if you learn the additional skills ( a good idea) they can create T2 bpcs, again for resale or personal use.

Also each account should be setup to be able to do PI as it is a good additional source of ISK.

You could also set each up to do R&D missions, but these take alot of time to setup and there are speculations on changes to research points / datacores, so it might not be a good thing to invest time into (unless they are making T2 items, which if that's the case you'll need the skills anways).

If you're popping out 30 ships every few hours and sell them on the market immediately after, you could be looking at some very nice profit.
Start a spreadsheet: calculate your costs to build, the sell price, the profit margin and go from there.
Play your cards right and you'll be raking in around 3-4b per month if you sell in bulk to a trader, 5-6b per month if you do the market work yourself.
Good luck.

Yours,
Alexis

Edit: Just saw the last part of your post. The above profit could be made with around 1.3-1.5b capital. Look at trying to get a freighter, hauling 30+ ships to another region could be worthwhile. In the meantime, you could find a market for the ships and pay for a hauling service such as Red Frog.

I seem to smell the stench of appeasement in the air.

Sounds like you're trying to do what I already do.

Your answer is, Yes. The real question is, can you keep up?

All depends on what you build and where you build it. If you have invention going, you really only need one toon to supply enough bpc's for 3 characters. At least on module production.

Forget spreadsheets, use the program in my sig and start making isk now.
