I didn't vote, because I agree - to a degree. I see a formidable task such as CCP's in continuing development of the game as resting largely on a solid vision (general if you will), then an execution of said vision according to potentials and constraints within the CCP organizational structure.

The quickest way to lose your way is to become bogged down in minutia. If CCP's management scheme turns to swatting flies - trying to meet individual expectations - rather than using the more productive top/down plan and execution, bottom/up feedback and adjustment approach I can foresee nothing but chaos in the offing.

This is why I'm hesitant to say specifically what CCP should do in a prioritized fashion. Knowing they're mindful of our feedback, and are not taking it lightly is enough to satisfy me, for I feel constrained to keep my hands in my pockets and let them do what they're going to do the way they see fit to do it. There are obvious considerations management must take into account. I assume they're pros. Let them do their work.

I also think, after all this hub bub, CCP has refocused on our input as players. I'm satisfied with that. I'm not going to Monday morning quarterback them. It might be wise if everyone else took the same position. In that vein I leave you with yet another quote from Willie the Shake:

"Any man can master a grief save he who has one."

It's easy to sit on the outside and kibbutz the players. Making the thing work is usually a bit more involved than critics allow.
