If this were Hello Kitty Online; I'd agree with you. However, this is EVE Online a game of HTFU and Goons and so forth. There is nothing in EVE Online that does not touch on PvP in some form; most of the gameplay is direct player versus player - an environment that needs the Goons just as the Goons need other players.

At this point, your paranoid slandering of a large group of other players is far more harmful. And your contribution to the game, both in a real, fiscal sense and in a health of the game sense, is **** all.

I strongly and passionately disagree with your sentiment.
I may stand opposed to the goons in-game ideologically but I enjoy having them having them as a protagonist to kick against

besides I have the sneaking suspicion that the goon leadership IS in fact ten times more intelligent than I already credit them for and we are going to see a lot more surprises from them.

your vision for EVE is dull in comparison.

Goons don't really do the whole "pet" thing. They really aren't into the whole "padding their space with people they don't like" thing, either.

Goons tend to shoot people they don't like. Hell, Goons tend to shoot people they DO like, for fun. All these people that you refer to as "pets", likely because you think they have no voice or something (idk, really). They are all friends of Goons. They like Goons, and Goons like them.

Goons don't abandon their friends, like certain alliances did with their "pets". If Raiden. or whoever decides to try and take a swipe at an ally, and that ally looks like they might not handle it, Goons will come and help out if asked. Not for any cost, or payment or anything. Just to help out a friend in need.

So you can take your little "pets" business and turn around and go back to whatever corner of space that you call home and enjoy your little ideas on your own time.

Well, you contribute $19.99 per month through PLEX to EVE Online.

The Goons, if they all paid for their subscription per month (Suspect there is a lot of PLEX going on there) contribute $149,500 per month to EVE Online.

The Goons pay for a few developers a month. In terms of the pay-rates for a developer here in NZ you'd expect to get 1 or 2 for that price per year. (Depending on what you picked) And that is only what they pay per month.

You on the other hand cover ... the cost of a coffee run for the janitors once per month?

So no, to keep my EVE healthy I'd rather have them get rid of you; instead of touching the Goons.
