Greets,

I left EVE about 3 years ago, though I popped back in for a month or two in that time. Looking to get back into it, confused.

What are the cool kids doing these days in terms of PvE, preferably in a corp setting? To be honest, although I'm properly geared for missions I'd rather skip this, especially solo.

Anything new that's a must see/do right now in EVE?

all the cool kids are doing incursions/worm holes/faction warfare (in that order i belive)
non of it are ment to be a solo activity.

you should fly around all of eve and look at the new pretty nebulas

The new graphics are indeed gorgeous, even the GUI seems rather nice. I was active mostly around RMR so it's been a while and I'm glad to see the changes.

I have some knowledge of WHs and faction combat, though I'm guessing it's been updated massively, I'll hit the wiki later tonight to wrap my head around the new stuff.

As far as external software goes, I have EFT and EVEMon installed, anything else worth looking into?

Those are the main two pieces of software you need. There are some other ones that are handy if you're doing industry or PI or whatever, but those are the main two that everyone needs.

Also, a nice chart that lists most of what there is to do (including the new stuff since you've been gone): What to do in Eve
