Corpum energy transfers

I've got a stack of various Corpum medium energy transfers. To my surprise, people occasionally buy them even. My question is... why? Is there some possible use for medium energy transfers that I'm missing or are people just bedazzled by the blue badge on the corner?

Some corps/alliances downgrade the energy xfer rather than the 4th rep on their Guardian.

yeah cheapo null guardian fits use them for logi 4 pilots.

logi 4 pilot needs 2 cap transfer, logi 5 can use a 5th rep (med).
if youre not cheap you fit t2 rigs and all large highs.

(really not sure what needed clarification)

nobody major in null uses 5+1 guardians.
