DED static complex overseer respawns

Hi

I just wanted to know how overseer spawns work in the static complex

I used to do them for a while a year ago. Today i entered a pith deadspace just after the DT. Didnt get the loot but i managed to get to the last room. As i got nothing to do, i decided to wait in the last room for the overseer spawn

Ive been waiting for more than four hours and it haven spawned yet. I thought it would spawn while someone is inside
Am i wrong? is there any thread explaining how this static complex works? The timers are the same for every overseer and for every complex?

Yes, they do respawn with people in there. However, IIRC, the Guristas 2/10 is a bit screwy with how the overseer spawns, something about a named structure needing to not be killed I think ... or something like that.

oh, i found some post speaking about that structure.

I´ve been reading a bit and now i know more or less how does it work.

CCP wont say how they are supposed to work, right?

move them to the probing system and such questions won't appear again.

F that. The probing system is cluttered enough as it is, no need to make it worse with DED 1/10 and 2/10. Leave them where they are, and let the dregs of society farm them day and night while the real explorers run the sites of real value.

I'm guessing you didn't think it through to realize that their value would go up greatly if they were probed-only and unable to be farmed.

I'm on the fence about it personally. I do like the thought of all exploration items being exploration only. But I also like the supply of cheap frig-sized modules on the market. I know that if the static plexes vanished, there are a lot of fits that I currently enjoy that would likely not be worth the cost to use (even if I find the modules myself, there's the opportunity cost of not selling it).

maybe not experienced explorers, but what about newer ones? currently a new player trying out exploration will have to go for radars in highsec (or hope to be lucky that noone snatches that 4/10 he just found and needs half an hour to run). you won't compete with the guys that sit in the static complexes. i would wager that if the 1/10 and 2/10 were moved to the exploration system, they would be 'uninteresting' for veteran explorers, thus providing content for newer players to complete.

Also yeah the price for these module would change. good for sellers, not so good for buyers.
