Interceptor / blockade runner warp speed question.

I ended up creating a pet project and don't want to stop short of awesome at this point but I don't have the particular ship role experience to answer this question.

I created a blockade runner with a full set of snake implants. I topped it off with a Rogue Warp Drive Speed WS-615 (+15% warp speed) instead of the snake omega. In my Ares that puts me at 774 m/s cruise, 5,000+ m/s MWD and 19.4 au/s.

So my question, does that warp speed help (in the Ares I barely hit top speed between a 45 au gate)? Seems like the bonus especially would if i was running in a slower transport. And am I already fast enough out of warp to intercept

Sorry I'm getting long winded here but in short I guess does warping faster than 10-15 au/s matter? And if not, is it worth 1.2 billion ISK to tack on a couple 100 m/s in out of warp speed

I've come too far not to bite the bullet and swap out at this point if I should. So I appreciate any experienced advice.

No, the top warp speed doesn't really have a ton of impact really:

So then the cat and mouse game plays out mainly in regular space and after 10-15 au/s you get diminished returns if any.

Hmmm.... Thanks for link.
