As of late, I have been wondering if there is anything else of interest to do in highsec while I meander around and finish up training for some skills here and there and wait for cooldown timers on my jump clones, and these DED deadspace sites have caught my fancy as of late. I am just wondering if any groups do this site independently, how they do it, and what do they do and the rewards involved in these sites. Any information regarding these sites is welcomed and thanked.

Are you talking about the ones you have to scan down or the ones that pop up on the overview automagically?

The latter are often (usually) camped, but if you're lucky enough to find one that isn't, it can potentially yield frigate-sized C- or B-type deadspace gear. If you're willing to scan, you can find frigate-sized A-type and cruiser-sized C-type deadspace stuff in high sec.

All of the sites in high sec are quite manageable solo. Just take an assault frigate for DED 1/10 and 2/10 or a decent cruiser (T3 if you can) for 3/10 or 4/10.

Like all exploration, it's a gamble. You might get lucky, you might get nothing. Whether it's worth it is up to you.

Running sites in high-sec can be very profitable as well as fun.

Talking more about the latter. They seem interesting enough to me, and I am interested in trying them out sometime due to the fact that I have heard good things about them (though not as good as Incursions, Big smile) and the potential loot that they offer up.

Thank you for the info, Zhilia and Orlaac.

Would love to run these with someone else, may see if I can do it later on.

when i get bored and need an isk injection i might thorw my one toon in a angel creocorp plex n camp it for a week or so. made over half a bill in small gistii b-type shield boosters and dram bpc's since friday or saturday. Like others said they can be camped (like the one I do) but if you got the cahones you can always try to force the camper out by bringing more dps to win the can, or be quick and just steal the loot and scoot before he can (you will get an aggro count down so sometimes they will engage you if you do this but others will let you take it) i got into the final room last night with a guy who i managed to grab the can right as he blew up the overseer structure and he convoed me to ask why and basically said he wasnt gonna fight me for it.. so after that i managed to grab the next 5 drops before he left.

you can also find an area where there are a few of these plexes so if one is camped you can move on, or you can run around a few to collect the first room keys so you can have a stash of them. Many ways to skin the cat. i use a system that has a station and one creocorp in same system as my base, but there are 5 more creo-corp plexes within a 7 jump radius of my base system so usually not to hard to find an empty one or one i can push the camper out of. But i pay for alot of pew this way and sometimes get some fun 1v1 pew pew in the process when i F with the camper.

Very nice. Would like to run them up in highsec sometime, but I probably need something a bit more tougher than what I currently have.

A Destroyer can handle the 2/10s just fine, they're not too too hard.

yea 2/10's dont ALLOW you to take a hull bigger than a destroyer. and the npc rats are all frigs n dessies and 1 cruiser in the last room i believe. and on top of that the only thing you need to kill is the overseer structure in each room to get the keys to advance and then the oversser structure in the last room drops the loot. So if you can orbit something faster than 700m/s you can orbit something in the room at 50KM+ and take just about 0 damage, when structure spawns swoop in kill it grab loot orbit back out. I use to do these in a t1 destroyer with the alt when it was only a few weeks old

Ah, nice. Very nice, I can definitely outfit a nice little dessie to run these things when I need to. What about for the higher sites? 4/10s, 5/10s, 6/10s, etc?

4/10s can be done in BCs or HACs. Above that and you need to start thinking about strategy to get it done in small hulls. Tengus are the default answer here, though Ishtars can do the job pretty well. Your exact answer will depend on which rats you're facing (and, of course, your skills).

So just for clarity: are we talking about the static DED sites that can be found via the DED Deadspace Report option in the Stat Map, or are these the Cosmic Anomalies found using the system scanner?

It seemed to me the thread was pertaining to the static DED sites listed in the starmap as DED Deadspace Reports.

Some of the high security ones are actually Cosmos Complexes that don't provide any Faction / Deadspace modules, also the NPC's usually re-spawn within 5 to 10 minutes. Those sites are mainly 3/10, 4/10 and 5/10 which are located in specific Constellations.

Amarr - Araz Constellation

Caldari - Okkelen Constellation

Gallente - Algintal Constellation

Minmatar - Ani Constellation
