Lvl 1 Agent says i have to join the war before he gives me Missions

Hi,

Im currently in Minmitar space and want to run missions for a new corp. But a lvl 1 agent of them wont give me a mission.

When i click on request mission he says that he only gives missions to those who joined the war.


Do i have to go on war with the amarr empire? And if yes, what does that mean for me and my standings?

You are talking to a faction war agent, each faction has one FW corporation, for those missions you do indeed have to join the war. If you don't want to there are dozens of other NPC corporations you can work for.

Is there a way to undo this this whole war thing after you once joined ?

Of course, but if you're a new player you may want to look elsewhere. These missions will ALL take you many jumps into low sec enemy space, where a lot of ppl will try to shoot you. These missions will also quickly ruin your standing with the opposite factions (ammar and caldari), once bellow -5.0 the navy will come after you when you enter their high sec systems.

If you belong to the Militia, the opposing Factions Navy NPC's will attack you anyway, doesn't matter what your standing is with them.

Hence the term 'Factional_Warfare'.
