Eve in a Parallels Desktop VM

Hello,
I am using Parallels Desktop 7 for running Eve on my iMac. The guest OS is Windows XP.
Until yesterday everything worked well. Then there was an update of Parallels from version 7.0.15055 to 7.0.15094. After starting Eve it takes only a few seconds until the virtual Windows crashes with a Bluescreen.

Downgrading Parallels back to 7.0.15055 solved the problem. Eve runs stable (and smooth) again.

I am curious whether anybody else has that problem.
Does anybody run Parallels Desktop 7.0.15094?

Try launching the VM, and before launching EVE force a run of windows update and make sure you have all the latest patches etc?

I am running the Windows client inside a VM because it feels faster and smoother than the Mac client. I haven't measured the frame rate yet.

The virtual Windows is completely patched. I also reinstalled the Parallels Tools.
Btw, I am using this VM for Eve only. So it's basically a plain Windows XP installation

While generally solid, XP is getting a bit dated now; any chance of upgrading the vm to Win 7? May reduce potential for bugs if CCP and Parallels are giving Win7 more QA love than XP before a given release?

I own a Windows XP from my pre Mac life. But I am not willing to buy a Windows 7 license.
