Hi,

Right now im searching for good corp in The Forge to run missions for, lvl4s later.

Is there any differnt in theire standing benefits / lp store rewards or anything else that puts certain corps ahead of others ?

And if yes, what is a good corp to go for ?

There are three types of LP stores, all of which have their specific and common items, plus the FW LP store. See the LP store database for specifics. It might have some old info, so double-check it in-game.

As for the corporations, Caldari navy is a good choice if you want to trade at Jita. Higher standing lowers your broker fees and at 8.0 you can install jump clones. Of course this also means that there are more people grinding for the corporation and the LP store isn't all that impressive. Look for a corporation with agents in 0.6 or 0.5 and see if there's anything worthwhile on their store.

For the items... You're out of luck. People don't like to give away their trade secrets. Obviously if you say "Item X sells really well" on the forums, you have lots of competition within an hour. A simple spreadsheet takes a little time to make but it's invaluable if you plan to run more missions.

This post was rated "C" for capsuleer.

*shrug*

Since I don't do Caldari LP, I'll give you a freebie: 5-run Caldari Navy Ballistic Control System BPCs are offered by Poksu Mineral Group, who have a L4 Security agent in Hampinen - a 0.5 that is 3j and a constellation jump away from the nearest lowsec. At current tag and contract prices, those BPCs are worth around 1700 ISK/LP, which is a far better conversion rate than most highsec mission runners achieve (although far worse than what can be achieved if you know what's what). If you just want to mission for ISK and have Caldari standings, head over there in a Tengu, blitz your missions, and enjoy pulling in ~100m/hour.

Well ive allready done a bit of researchin the LP/Isk thing. Not all to great results. I think the mystical 3500/Lp items told in the forums like the ancient legend about El Dorado are simply some items of rare Low sec corps.

Even the little hint about the Ballistic controle systems above turned out to be a worse than expected 666.67/Lp in jita.

I specifically wrote "BPC." 1x 5-run BPC from the LP store: 54m ISK and 135k LP, plus 206m ISK in tags at Jita sell order prices. Each BCS sells for 99m at current prices, so your ISK/LP is (5*99 - 54 - 206)/135 = 1.74k.

That said, thanks for demonstrating once again exactly why it's consistently possible to make stupid money from highsec missions - the average mission runner is so determinedly ignorant that even when you literally spell things out for them point by point they fail to see how things work.

(the best LP conversion rate available in highsec atm is 13k ISK/LP. I don't know quite how much LP you'd need to sink to saturate the market, but it can easily accommodate several hundred thousand per week.)
