I'm looking for a solid low sec exploration fit for a Gila. For those who are wondering the gila is simply temporary before I finish Gallente Cruiser V. I'm looking for an almost all-in-one fit (A quick refit between travel is nothing bad). if you have a 0.0 fit please share it too !

Since I'm 100% minmatar toon please inform me of a non terrible minnie exploration ship :( I've never been able to find a ship with a decent fit to accomplish what I want.

I've used this against Angels in lowsec a couple times, it works ok (the Gila is a tight fit though):

Under normal circumstances, I would absolutely encourage using weapons in addition to drones to increase damage and thus clear sites faster. With no damage bonus, however, launchers on a Gila aren't going to do anything more than pitiful DPS. Even with 3x HAMs and faction ammo you won't do more than 100 launcher DPS.

You'd be better off dropping those and using the fitting elsewhere. If you absolutely do want to use those launcher slots, just use assault missiles and pick off frigates with them while saving on fittings.

Well, I had the missiles for agroing mostly and the fit works with them, I didn't especially need the fitting space anywhere else (the only thing I'd really change would be to get a improved cloak), so I just used the HMLs and it worked fine. It's not intended to be the end-all fit, but it works.
