Profit Calculator?

I've gone throughout the forum and looked for a decent and simple profit calculator, but it seems that most of them are out of date or a bit confusing for me to use.

I've tried evetycoon, but the API's for the new Eve aren't accepted.

Eve-profit is really confusing me with how things are calculated as well as how it's presented.

I'm looking for an up to date profit calculator that's simple to read, are there any that our out there and simple enough for a dumb person like me? ;(

Just an example of what I want, not an actual scenario, the numbers aren't real:

I buy 200 spirits for 20isk each, so that's 4000 isk that I bought the spirits for.

I want to sell the 200 spirits at 25 isk each, without the fees, the revenue should be 5000 isk. But I want something that can calculate my profit - ALL OF THE FEES that are involved in the transaction:

AKA:

5000-4000 = 1000 isk untaxed profit - fees (calculated through the program or system) = actual profit.

Something simple like that.

Any help would be much appreciated!

Excel Spreadsheets are a Traders best friend :)

BrokerFee % = (1.000 % – (0.050 % × Broker Relations Skill Level)) / e^((0.1000 × Faction Standing) + (0.04000 × Corporation Standing))

if all you want is to punch in a number and get a result, I have a simple google Doc spreadsheet that you enter buy broker fee %, sell broker fee % and sales tax, and it will spit out the break even point for a sell or buy order

example

Say I have a broker fee of 0.37% at station A and I want to sell at station B which has a 0.85% broker fee, plus the static 0.5% sales tax

If I buy at 3.00/unit, I will need to sell at 3.05205285988096/unit to break even, which mean I neither lost nor gained.

or the opposite

Say I see plex is selling at 519m and I want to know when I start making a profit. I will have to purchase a plex at *most* 510,148,438.274665.

I generally round up, but I'm just copying the raw data from the spreadsheet.

If you're interested, I'll create a public copy.

Bitter Sea currently has a prototype profit calculator in place, should be open to the public in a day or two. It'll iterate over your transactions/orders and account for fees/taxes. You'll be able to specify a start and end point and either assign item types or order ID's - or even just "EVERYTHING IN THIS RANGE".
