Great news ! I make enough isk per month to pay for 2 accounts but it leaves me very little isk to play with so this is great timing with my decision to go back to a monthly subscription !

So uhm, why again am I still going to pay 39€ for three months over here in "mainland Urop", when the Brits are only going to pay about 33€ ?

So it's now cheaper to subscribe than to buy PLEX from America and have codes emailed to me.

This is, in fact, great news.

Maybe I can start subscribing accounts instead of PLEX'ing them all!

I have just renewed my account (and that of my alt) by buying 6-months subs each in one payment. I could have saved if I hadn't paid in advance.

Still, a reduction in UK subs is A Good Thing in principle. Pity it'll take me 5 months to enjoy it Oops

You should read the first part of the devblog again: "...This change will take effect on May 1st, 2012 with the following pricing options available..."

Now, thats almost a £50 increase

Please explain why you think it is OK to overcharge people who do not know about external GTC retailers

You should be selling PLEX for £10 not £17, as thats what shattered crystal seem to be able to do

a plex is suppose to be 30 days game time to help players but as i have always said its a way for ccp to sell isk

put 5 plex on the market for 1 mil above the rest of the buy orders and they sell 1 per minute lmao

This may seem like a ray of sunshine to all us UK dwellers, but if you actually look past the CCP spin doctors you are losing more money.

Price of a 1 Month Sub on Eve Account Management: $14.95

$1 Conversion Rate to GBP = 0.627

$14.95 Converted to GBP = £9.39

So basically what CCP is saying here, is that they don't want UK users paying the same as Americans, but are going to round it up and try to pass it off as a good deal.
