So...it's not good enough that they're fixing it soon, you want it NOW FIX IT NOW!!1!111!!!!1

When you've finished throwing your toys out of the pram, contract me your stuff and go back to hello kitty online. Roll

issue has gone on for too long. I choose not to support whoever the solution architect is since they have no clue what to do.

reminds me of apple drones who support apple no matter how crappy a product is/comes out.

So...you have literally no idea what a game designer is, but you don't trust the ones at CCP, despite having equally little idea of what they're doing about the problem you demand they address?

While I'm familiar with the ragequits, self importance of the class in which you think what you do qualifies you to offer a solution that no one else can dispute and that you're immune to troubleshooting because "you've already done it", & temper tantrums that result from merc corps being called in to help when wars go bad --Hell, all of the new star wars moves seemed "Beta-like" to me, but you didn't see me throwing my star wars books away.

I've seen a lot of the software that large corporations use & programs that are released. It seems that everything is in a state of "Beta-like" if people are making an effort to improve on it and add content.

Also "Fix Corp Hopping and Neutral RR or I Leave" is a terrible name for a thread.

When you're looking for a solution don't just throw out an answer. You want to take a look at what's causing the problem & find as many solutions to it from there. Clearly you aren't in a place to listen to anyone's opinion but your own, and it's difficult to really find constructive solutions at times like that.

So the primary issue statements would be:

Corporation Members are allowed to leave, rejoin, and leave their corporation during war.

&

When someone Remote Repairs a player we're at war with, they're only given aggro for 15 minutes.

---

Honestly the RR -- I think aggro is the wrong way to go. Clearly they should just be concorded for interfering in concord sanctioned warfare. This would definitely be the fairest for everyone.

As for the Corp Members who leave, rejoin, and leave again? Two can play that game! Just leave your corp & setup to rejoin for an ambush! If you use a passive targeting system you can have the enemry corp locked as you change corporations so that you can fire imediately -- joking :) I'd like to see a corp lock for wardecks. If you're part of the corp when the wardeck comes & you participate in any combat you have a 24 hour hold before you can leave the corp, but this only applies to someone who's been with the corp for more than a week. Before your first week with the corp you can't leave at all. Additionally when you're applying to the corp & they're at war first they have to accept your application, then the player receives a notification that they've been acepted but the corp is at war & confirms that they do want to join the corp.

Or again, we could just have them concorded when they undock ;)

I'm sure other people might have real ideas about these topics (in fact I'd almost bet that they've already been opened).

OP is just whiney ***** that can't figure out EVE and humans.

EVE is not fair.

Humans will do anything to win be it in a game or in real life until "official" rules get in the way

Done deal.

OP also has several options to deal with the issue.

1. GTFO of Highsec
2. GTFO of Highsec
3. GTFO of Highsec
4. GTFO of Highsec
5. Play by the rules....that there are none.
6. All of the above.

Any choice works, I particularly recommend option 5 though any of them work.

And OP is probably just whiney ButthurtOops look for attention anyway, since wardecs are only needed in highsec but if enemy makes OP ButthurtOops he can just use a rack of 1400mm artty without a wardec Roll

I've been saying for years that repping a war target should make you a valid war target for the duration of the war. Make it work kinda like kill rights. War declarations have way too many work arounds.

this...

also, you guys are not really adding anything of value here... typical nerd speech.

The answer is pretty easy, and i gave it prior. This will be fixed as CCP already is acknowledging this is an issue. They just dont know how to fix it. Not about being butt hurt or whatever you want to think of as imbalance. Point is it is an exploit. It is blatantly an exploit as ANYONE short of the people doing it will tell you.

Mark my words... this will eventually be fixed. Until it is, im not going to participate in supporting CCP. My choice, tough.

Everyone plays the game differently and my way is no different than some miner mining a belt for hours or 0.0 blobs of LOL in nullsec. These are all irrelevant and short sighted.

The point is that it is incredibly abused and if you dislike what i say, petition CCP TO KEEP IT. Let me say this... it will not stay the way it is. I dont care if 100 people gangrape me in the middle of 0.0...stupid mistake within the rules of the game, but the b.s. i brought up is a flaw.

I've stated what can be done and how to fix it and it will eventually come to those lines one way or another, its just that they will continue to sweep it under the rug until they figure some sort of balance issue.

im sure your one of the ones who jumps corps to fight and then leaves the corp to go back to carebearing while i cant pew you. Yes...this is balance.

where do you people come from? TELL CCP TO KEEP IT THE WAY IT IS

Wow...

1) neither of these activities (as annoying as they are) are exploits. Otherwise those using them would be banned.

2) This is an MMO, everything is always BETA in an MMO.

CCP is working on the neutral RR. It annoys a lot of people. Likely will be changed in some way by May.

Corp hopping... haven't followed enough to know if CCP is changing anything there. Not sure if anything needs to be changed. Haven't been in enough wars to know the ins and outs of such activities.

Well, I think you're right, in both game being broken and CPP incompetent, but I can't understand all the rage.
You have a right to quit paying for broken product, perfectly reasonable if you do, but why doing it so loudly ?

Do you think (or you want) that you job experience and position makes you more valuable client to CPP that any 13 years old kid who pays with his parents money ? Sorry, this doesn't work that way. You both pay the same per account.

Just leave and be happy elsewhere.

Wow, some rage flying around in this thread.

War Decs in Empire are broken. The changes coming with Inferno aren't going to make any serious change to this.
If a corp doesn't want to fight, they will still stay docked or still not bother logging in.

If they really want to continue playing without fighting they will drop Corp and go join another Corp.
You will still be able to have all of your members drop one corp and move over to a new/spare Corp or alliance and be completely unaffected.

The war dec is tied to the Corp/Alliance after all and not the members themselves.

War Decs in Empire are only fun if you operate as a small Unit. If you are a Merc Corp of 20 members or less war dec'ing bigger entities then your target will not be as concerned.

This is why so many Merc Highsec Alliances have folded and died, because no one wants to fight them.

Personally, I gave up with this a long time ago and moved out to NPC nullsec.
People actually want to fight which is great as that's what i want.

War dec'ing in Empire was fun when I first started, but the time and energy now spent into finding decent targets, tracking down something to kill is just not worth it. Its either that or do what 0rphange do and sit on station undocks at the four hubs waiting for something to undock and be insta popped. No fun there either.

For all the war dec'ing Merc Corps/Alliances still in Empire, grow some balls and come out to NPC space.
Stop killing noobs, it doesn't prove anything other than you are the king of Noobs. Congrats, hope you feel proud.

No, it's actually the normal way people operate (and not just around here).

If you can learn to accept it and it doesn't make extra work for you it can actually be quite fun to watch.

OP, you really shouldn't be surprised at all the blow back you're getting. You genuinely asked for it, dude.

I sympathize, but it'll be fixed one way or another. I seriously doubt CCP is sitting there reading this entire Features & Ideas Forum going "Guys, I thought we were done with this game..."

Give them some damned credit. You've worked for Fortune 500's, they started Eve Online by selling board games out of their garage IIRC.
