what's the best ship for high/low sec exploring

Tengu or one of the other T3s depending on who you are fighting? or is the Ishtar good enough?
And does one of the T3s have a better cov ops pve fit for low sec?


edit: I'm looking at 100-200 mil max in mods not counting hull and would prefer just t2

this question depends very much on whether or not you count cost as a factor. losing a 2bil tengu hurts more than a 200mil ishtar.

I should buy an Ishtar.

Any of the T3s is great at exploring (though many people will tell you "Tengu or go home") and the Ishtar works just fine too.

ishtar is very good if you fit t2 cloak + mwd and carry some wcs for insurance in your cargohold for travel fit.

But I would only recommend using the Ishtar for guristas and serpentis low sec space.

For high sec, I would assume(I have little experience in high sec explo.) you would need a faster and gankier ship so you can clear sites before other people.

The cheapest Tengu fit is far from the budget you mentioned, might aswell think about a drake,, the fit for an exploration drake is 70-80mil tops.

Highsec I love an ishkur with t2 drones, lowsec or null i have used the ishkur and ishtar, both would be in your budget range, or drake, of course.
