Micro, Logic, Interface, anything with a green chip is a universal ingredient. Control those the other stuff becomes junk.

When i started this thread I expected a pickup in a few products and bought in then sold out. I Cant believe the increases keep coming. It is clear that these items are in short supply. I mean as an example; Interface Circuits have seen an increase off 400% and i dont think its going to stop. There aren't even enough on the markets throughout eve to satisfy demand so they will keep going up. I wouldn't be surprised if they hit 1m/pu by may. Power Circuits are doing well also, getting held down currently by small sell orders tho. Wouldn't be surprised to see them brake 10m

Interface and Micro are used in the infamous Hellcat fit and I expect them to keep moving untill the markets catch up. Years of bottlenecking has created gluts on specific parts. Untill we start to see what is actually being looted it will be hard to know what the stuff is worth.

T2 Salvage is alot like Dog Tags. People simply could never bring themselves to get rid of it due to the rare nature, so it has been accumulating for years and years.

We will eventually see what it's all going to be worth but only in time.

I'm sorry but what the hell are you blabbing about ? These have very clearly been market manipulations .
There might very well have been a slight bottleneck/undersupply on the market as well .... but nothing of of this sort.

400% increase doesn't even come close to some of the prices that have skyrocketed.
Specifically the interface circuits you mentioned are up to 370.000 from 2000.

There was never a demand for tertiary parts because there was a bottleneck on certain key parts. Now that the bottlenecks are freed up, all the parts are being bought cheap that can be. It isn't manipulation, it's smart shopping. If the bottlenecks are fixed the parts to make T2 rigs will in time all be priced around the same because the parts are needed on even numbers.

Large Energy Discharge Elutriation T2 with a -4 bpc.

6 Current Pump
18 Interface circuit
18 Micro Circuit

If drops are balanced, Micro Circuits and interface circuits should in time end up costing the same. Current pumps will always be cheaper because they tend to drop as much or more than the other 2 and there will always be more available than we need.
Right now, Interface circuits are skightly over priced but Micro circuits are horribly under priced. Both will correct themselves in time.

its part of ccp new stealth nerf. they are slowly making normal faction candy more expensive. this increased price is a indicator of less salvaged commander wrecks. ether players dont salvage & loot them anymore or less is spawning

No.

There was a decline in Commander spawns just after they chuffled the spawning system. It has returned though. They actually increased T2 salvage. Before that it was pretty much a capital, super capital only thing to use T2 Rigs. Now that the drops are balanced on all parts for the most part, the demand has gone beyond multi billion ISK fits and we are seeing real demand rather than bottleneck parts prices.

Looks like we've peaked. that was a nice little earner whilst it lasted but prices are starting to drop now.

Untill Inferno comes out and Dust is established I'd see all markets as manipulated, even this one. Sell offs will benefit people like me because I'm doing it for all the wrong reasons but maybe in time my ISK sinking will pay off. I guess we will see.

Evening!

Finally someone wants to discuss this mess. Ive been producing T2 rigs for several years and I'm usually the only producer in the whole Galaxy on some rigs. The steep increase in prices *ESPECIALLY* power circuits seems to be a combined market manip and a general decrease in supply.

CCP promised player wrecks would drop more....it hasn't happened. I have salvaged a few hundred player wrecks since the change...they FAILED. I salvaged a Tengu wreck the other day and got two Conductive Thermoplastic and METAL SCRAPS. WTF CCP! Metal Scraps from a Tengu?

Also, commander spawns *seem* to be more frequent but FFS I get tons and tons of T1 salvage from them. I URGED CCP to make a T2 drop from commanders *mandatory*...simple table. If you got a drop, you got *at least* 1 piece of T2. But no....
If they really want T2 rigs to come down...power circuits have GOT to come down. I just don't see it happening.

The suggestion of blowing up insured T2 works..somewhat..Ive blown up nearly 50b in T2 ships in Jita for salvage and its pretty much a break even proposition. The RNG is just too random...and you can really take a bath if you go too crazy. And you dont use a carrier, you use your old buddy Orca.

The ME: 0 blueprints in all sizes have helped out the rig market somewhat...but most people are grossly overpricing their copies.
I have my doubts about CCP interfering here since they seem content to let prices on almost everything float upwards to
sink more ISK. I guess we will see.

I also seriously doubt there is much loose T2 salvage floating in hangars. The high prices and immediate access to market data virtually ensures all T2 salvage gets to market rapidly.

Again, this is going to be a wait-and-see proposition.

Have to agree, something new went down under the hood. I have salvaged around 12 Commander spawns in 3 days and my salvage from them is 0. No T1, no T2, no salvage.

I've said before, RNG in EVE is, uncontested, hands down the most punishing, unrewarding in any MMO I have ever played. In the course of 7 years I have killed thousands of T2 commanders and I have gotten 2 blueprints, both Daredevils. One I took from a miners abandoned Shadow kill. The tags are trash, the ammo is always 40%, 60% ranged. It's like finding a chunk of gravel shaped like a button. Rare, unique but still just worthless gravel.

My tests on Farming T2 salvage were done in a 3 rig Noctis with Salvage 5 and I can tell you, avoid anything but Amarr just because they are the only ones that drop Intact armor and Cap consoles on a regular basis. I don't know what CCP are doing in this department any more and I don't know if I care at this point.

CCP starts to fix botting --> bots can be programmed to do certain things like salvage wrecks with "dread guristas" in their name --> salvage prices increase --> ???

That would be true "if" but that isn't what's happening.

ANN's prices are down, volume is through the roof.
Current Pump prices are static, volume is up.
Micro Curcuit prices are down

Interface circuits, Logic Circuits, Power circuits are all up in price but volumes are as well. That's market manipulation.
Add to that the salvage rates are down in certain spots. I'm actually going to speculate and say most of this stuff comes from Faction War, not macro farming in null. The same with the tags.
