I've been reading up a bit on the character Darius III who has posted quite a bit of material in EVE and also on EVE Tribune. Is it true he's just a liar and can't stop telling false stories?

Whoa whoa, slow down now. Darius III is a fine upstanding citizen of New Eden. Every single time he has spoken, it's been with truth and integrity. Even better, he holds himself to a higher standard then his peers. When handling CSM issues, he is a businessman, but quiet and shy when dealing with his constituents in eve. He has always been approachable and has given me the best of advice in eve. Please stop trying to slander his good name.

Cool, an internet stalker. Does Darius III speak directly into your head or can you read his mind?

Liars, conmen, and theives?!? In my EVE!?! For shame. For shaaaaame!

Lets take a moment and be honest without ourselves (hangs up his Mr. Roger's cardigan and changes his shoes). If you came into this game thinking that what made it great was honorable, truth telling heros who come to the aid of every besieged Rifter, you are going to be sadly disappointed. Sure, there are the white knights, the ones who would give their very last ship away to the bleeting fools in Jita who claim they just got sui-ganked by an evil fleet of Tornados, but let me be frank with you; this game is made great by the capers, the liars, the swindlers, the conmen, the murders, the backstabbers, and everything in between.

Understandably it's going to make you mad when you are had by them. In the end though, there is only truly one person to point the finger at, and to find who that is only requires that you look into a mirror. If there wasn't a vast market of idiots, naive fools or lazy pilots who couldn't be bothered to look up a simple search like "Goon recruitment scam" on Google, there would be far fewer of these dregs of society making you stomp and huff yourself into a tizzy. The fact that you do amuses us greatly and gives us stronger resolve to continue your little temper tantrums.

I have a great respect for Darius III because he chooses to use his brain in unique ways to reach his goals. Honest or not, you have to give him credit for that at the very least, no matter who you are or which direction your moral compass points.
