Dear CCP, since you still have not addressed the overnerf of SuperCarriers, I am petitioning to change the name to SuperCoffins. That is all....











Even a Battleship has a remedial drone bay CCP, perhaps you may want to rethink your plans? Oops

last i checked super carriers had fighters and fighter bombers.

Why would you need drones when the rest of your fleet should have plenty?!

The ewar immunity of the Supercarrier also blocks incoming drone signals, making it impossible to control them. It's the same as triage.

Carriers and super carriers should get a drone bay like a battleship, and have bonuses for fighter and fighter bomber bandwidth and space. That way, they can have fighters/bombers, and 1 or 2 sets of drones.

Well it was a quick fix do to a whine campaign.

All they did was modify the existing ship not create a new component.

ie to give you what you want CCP would have had to create a Fighter / Bomber Bay for carriers and supercarriers.

For that reason you will not see drones in a super carrier any time soon.

The fact that supercarriers cannot deploy 20 Warrior IIs with 200 more ready in the drone bay is not a problem.

As far as i know, carriers where and are meant to be SUPPORT ships, they were never meant to be fighter ships.

But then again, maybe i haven't payed enough attention.

Mordern destroyers cruisers and frigates can deploy 'drones.'

Not a single one of them can launch fighters.

you mean, the point of a super carrier is that it can use uber drones called fighter and fighter bombers.
