Try Fixed window.

You should be able to specify in the settings which window goes on which screen.

Not sure how to automate that setup though (except running it as a different user. that'd probably do it)

This. I've also heard of having two separate Eve installs since they'll remember their window position individually.

First you need to have 2 separated installations of EVE on your machine so each can have its own settings.
Alternatively you can use junction link (here is a nifty prog) in order to have one installation with multiple clones. This gives the benefit of having to update only one installation when EVE needs to patch.

After you have setup the installations or junction links, you need to go to the EVE client settings (ESC > Display & Graphics tab), choose "Fixed Window' in "Windowed or Fullscreen" and specify the display adapter that each monitor is using. Optionally you can adjust the resolution of the client appropriately to the monitor resolution.

When all that is done you ready to go.

Or just do it the easy way, 1 Install ran twice, both clients in windowed mode, move each to whichever monitor you want, and your done... quick and easy.

I set my three clients up with this way
As mentioned this give the benefit of both methods, uses no more space than a single install but also let's you keep settings between clients

This way I have 3 clients setup with their own shortcut on the desktop that launches a client on their own screen.
The last thing you want is having to fiddle with your settings and overview positions every time you login, especially if' there is something going on.

Now after the launcher patch I have the launcher set to only show if there is one, if I then see it I let it finish patching and since all the files are linked I don't need to patch the other clients.Big smile

You can take this even further, setting up a cloned client just for massive fleet battles where effects\brackets etc etc are set for max performance.

I can confirm this is the best way at the moment, I have been doing this for the past 6 monthsI can run 5 clients (windowed mode allows you to move each client to different monitors easily too) without issue, installing multiple eve clients just takes up way too much disk space (8-9 GB ish? each install)
