There was a small update today after maintenance on Tranquility (2012-04-12) and I hoped it could help with the update (patch) on Singularity. So I made a fresh testserver installation with the Tranquility update from today but unfortunately with same result. In the downloading process (app. 60%) it got sam error message:

"An error occured while applying patch, the launcher will now try to apply the patch safely with raised privilages."

Than a "Applying patch" message is showing up which pops an other "applyPatch" message which is saying:

"Uanable to apply patch It is recomended that you restart your computer and then run the EVE Online launcher again."

I'm now tiered of trying and soooo poor response (none). For the DEV's are obiously other "Ingame objects" are more important than a clean installation.

1. can we get separated (sub) folders for different types of Energized plating, Armor hardners, shield hardener, shield resistance Amplifiers and gang assist modules.. since now the folders are sorted by meta lvl it is annoying to scroll to the botom of the list to find the mod you are looking for. when there is 6(0-5) meta lvls per type for the Energized plating that is a list of 36mods.

2. tumps up for soting by meta lvl. but can option to sort 5-0meta lvl(not the rigs), for experienced pilots. where we most of the time look for meta 5 and meta 4 items?

3. why are not faction/officer/DS mods sorted my meta lvl?

The most common user interface elements used to represent players can now be dragged over to various edit fields to add the characters name.

can you make it so it lock to that singel name. say if you have a guy named "space" in you chat and want to do a contact to him.
you wound drag his named in to the text field with out haveing to look through a list of 412 ppl to find that singel name.

I also can't use the fitting screen. My modules also get stuck on, and can't turn them off without docking/jumping system.

A work around I found for locked modules like that is to turn on an option to refresh the HUD, like show all passive mods. Then the proper timers should show again and you can turn them off.

Seriously, contracts was the only place where you was able to sell something without stupid 0.01 ISK wars and without market bots. And now those programs will be even more popular. What?

Yet markets are still per region. Most will still use the contracts so everyone can see those limited quantity faction and deadspace officer mods in more places at once. All the market will do is help add a base isk value to items for the new kill mail info.

The 'stuck modules after jumping' thing is a known issue. We're testing a fix for that internally right now.

ya won't this be a problem when it comes to killmail calculations, i thought ALL ITEMS had to be on market, which begs the question how they will deal with titans and supers :S

The overwhelming majority of faction mods are sold in Jita, and this will continue to be the case. The fact that you can see contracts in another region is largely irrelevant, seeing as you can't accept non-private contracts in other regions.

Another fine question. Perhaps calculate by mineral build cost and call it good?

I'm actually curious as to whether this killmail system will apply eve-wide as well, or just for wardec kills. If it's just wardec kills that makes supers somewhat irrelevant anyway, you don't see many of those dying as the result of wardecs. :)

Not to mention you can't put your fit ships on market, so those t1 and t2 ships and ships with t2 rigs still need to go on contracts unless your gonna trash the t2 rigs lol

well i'm hoping and praying that they will tag the price at death time to the module in the killmail, so that it can be exported to the out of game killboards.

There is a workaround for this. Set your antialiasing to Low or Med and it will work. A fix is in progress for this also.

I do not like this change. Sure was nice being able to choose who you sold your items to.

This is gonna ruin some in-game careers.

Choose who you sold your items to? Are you implying that you actually used the ripoff buy orders? Lol

I've found FPS in space to be much better than TQ (framerates went to hell a few patches back on TQ).

Improving the framerate was one of the goals mentioned at Fanfest. I guess the developers have been working on it for awhile.

What I like in this build:
+ The overview gradient.
+ Launcher and turret fire is a lot more visible now.

What I don't like:
- The current readout. I dislike having lines that simply point to the SHIELD/ARMOR/STRUCTURE gauges without having any labels. The previous readout was fine. If you're going to make changes like this, I think a redesign of the HUD and UI is in order. The readout and gauges can easily be combined into a single HUD element. Make it simpler and accessible without regressing in functionality.

If you attempt to open the fitting menu, and are greeted with only a black box. CCP has suggested turning Anti Aliasing settings to medium or high to fix the problem.

Not sure how that has anything to do with it, but CCP told me to do that. It worked. :3
