EVE is Art - EVE Photo Manipulation

Hey yall, im releasing a series of photo manipulations based on EVE. Each race will get one. I wanted to share the first in the series with you.

The first race I did was Caldari

all images (excluding the two planets used inside the nebula) were taken from in-game screen shots. All lighting, brush work, shading, shadows, smudging... etc, was done with my Wacom Tablet.)

I recorded the creation process of this piece from start to finish, and released the video as a speed art. You can check it out here:

Nicely done, I never got past some rough knowledge of Photoshop and I always like to see artists doing their thing. The video was instructional.

The colours reminded me of Descent: Freespace, which is a good thing.

Thank for all the feed back I have gotten so far, means alot to me, and helps me refine my art. Ill see what I can do about doing more resolutions (released it in my naitive resolution I use on my monitor.) I do take requests, and do custom work, though my time is a bit limited atm, alot of projects, both personal, and for clients. For thoes that have inquired about custom work done, ill contact you in game, or make a public post when my time frees up. Thanks again for yalls input, Its very much appreciated :]

You really need a color callibrated monitor, are you aware that your colors are over saturated?

What type of monitor are you using?

Yea its partly that, but also, i think i used a little bit too much color correction, and when colorizing/adding the glow effect to the nebula, i believe i may have used a little too much pressure with my tablet heh. Ill be touching up the picture later. Thanks for the constructive criticism, i appreciate it.

[EDIT: Calibrated my monitors color when i got home from work tonight, everything was fine with my calibration]

Dregen, as far as your rendering goes for youtube, did you do any color correction because of the RGB -> yv12 thing w/ youtube?

No I did not, I did a bit of color correction in photoshop to get the blue hue over everything, but no color correction durring rendering the video
