No you wouldn't. Or better yet you could but it would violate EULA - as in REAL MONEY TRADING. Accounts banned and whatnot if it would ever surface.

This offer however is legit in terms of eula. Still just regard it as an offer take it or leave it. CCP isnt really making any money off it at least not directly.

Some market analyst could say if the rising of PLEX prices has the potential of giving CCP any financial gain. But other than that CCP payed $ while the player pay ISK. If you have enough ISK stashed somewhere this offer might be nice. Otherwise it really isnt advised to BUY plex from ccp to get the board ;)

I for one will not pay since already got a better card. But for some it might be valuable.

I think it would be an EULA violation if I bought a 560 from you.
But if CCP wouldn't mind, I would buy 10 from you right now.

Now I don't know how your wallet looks. But for a lot of us, 20 plexes is basically peanuts.

It is peanuts. But the point is that it is a old card (a rather bad one too) and that doesn't make much sense why you'd buy one, for plex or rl money.

Doc has stated what gfx has in previous post. Go read that.

I'm currently at the same pace as Doc.
I have an old gfx, I can't afford to buy a new one (crisis has me unemployed at the moment) and "I'm spacerich" (quoting Doc).
This is a very good opportunity for me to upgrade my rig at no cost for me, no matter if the rest of you find that gfx not worthy.

I saw that now.

And fair enough, but just do a bit of research so you know what you actually get.

tl;dr - the 560($180\£136) is a overclocked 460 (about $130\£115) and so, you'd save more on buying the 460.

you're not very intelligent and you keep beating your head against a wall because you don't understand pretty basic stuff here

Whatever I get is better than what I have. Saving RL money presupposes that you have RL money to spend, which I haven't.

No matter what people say in here those cards will probably sell in 10-20min or even less then that so yeah the price is double from the current market price but it's a nice addition from people that cant afford a new upgrade.

They are selling tops 150$ worth of gear (It's probably 100 OEM units with a fine discount) and removing 350$ worth of liability from their books. They will probably $20k or so out of it, not a lot in the scheme of things, but it's enough to say that they are making something out of it.

I'm just annoyed it doesn't come with anything. Even if it just came with a little collectible item or a custom Eve design on the cooler I'd have been spamming that account page to try and buy one Lol

I completely agree that isk effectively becomes worthless after a certain point and there is a need for more isk sinks in the game and I can see why people are excited about it.

My feelings on the matter however it is a ripoff no matter how much you want to empathize how FREE it is, it is still a ****** graphics card and the whole concept just screams RMT.

sure, but that's business for you: CCP has figured out a great way to seperate people from their money in a way that makes everyone happy: the guy who actually pays the $350 gets space money that for some reason he wanted to spend $350 on, CCP gets $350 for a $150 video card, and I get a video card for monopoly money

well, I would if I was getting in on this (i'd rather keep my isk in useful things and wait for a better card and enough cards I won't get stuck holding a bunch of plex and no card when I'm a second late)

I would love to pay less space money for the card but because it's space money i don't give a ****
