There are real people on these forums and in this game, who have had children who were **** victims, or have been **** victims themselves. Said people will see this in game. You must not have a soul to understand why this is not ok.

I mean on one hand it's super funny it passed, and it made me lol pretty hard. But I understand it will and should be removed asap, because someone brings a hammer of suing down on CCP so hard the game is shut down.

*edit* why is the internet always full of people that defend child porn? I swear every time I've seen a thread pointing out child abuse, somebody , always 100% chance, will open their mouth, and DEFEND IT, that is beyond ridiculous.

Its one thing to use the cartoon image of a mythological monster that molest children(no not santa) and another to name a child and tell a room full of pedo's were they live.
the ex-chair man did not stand up and unveil the new goon swarm logo as the "for ever alone guy" getting stung by bees.
Out break DOT to my knowledge has yet to call for the ruining of a child's life.
Also some thing awful forum members should never be shown any quarter, as the will give none

I wanted to paint my space ship red, but I couldn't find enough goats.

I don't find it particularly offensive. Then again. I don't have kids. I can, however, understand how a parent might feel seeing "pedobear" used in the game as an official corp logo. It probably should be removed as it is something that particularly targets kids. That is not cool no matter what.

Also the fact that so many people in this thread cannot understand this just shows how ignorant our gaming community really is. A lot of us really need to learn how to see past our own nose and start thinking about how other people might feel to something like this. How many of you think you would like this if one of your own kids was raped?

I find it interesting that people don't understand that it is possible to joke about something tangentially related to something horrible. You will never get over an issue if you don't learn to joke about it, til then it will just eat at you and consume your thoughts.
