I'm reminded of an old joke, which will now be adapted for this thread.

It's a costume party. The theme? A mood or emotion. Two guys turn up, one with a cup of custard over his manly parts and the other with a teddy bear over his manly parts. The host blinks in astonishment and asks them what the bloody hell they were supposed to be.

btw - pedobear isn't something SA or 4chan came up with at all...so ya can't pin that on either one of them. They may use it in some memes in a joking way, but they didn't come up with it. pedobear is a much more widespread cultual symbol of pedophilia.
