i monitor contracts regularly and there is a lot of manipulation/sniping. basically some rich guys will buy all the 90m bcs and relist them at 120m.

Or since people have been complaining about lower isk/lp conversion rates after the agent changes (ql20, only 4 types of agents, in-game agent finder tool,) then the price jumps just might be the result of people have more LP, and then with everyone and their mother buying tags, tag prices have increased dramatically, which has caused tag-based faction item prices to also jump in price.

But if you insist, then I can definitely see the Null-Sec "Let's Embarrass CCP" NAP Cartel as not only planning on gouging T2 prices, but also manipulating faction item prices just to rub salt in the wound.

Or maybe 100MN AB Tengus are being stockpiled for some nefarious purpose.

Pon Farr Memorial: once every 7 years, all the carebears in high-sec must PvP or they will be temp-banned.

Tag prices have gone through the roof. It was only a matter of time till the faction stuff prices followed. It's not a rare sight that people lose money on "creating" the items, in fact a good majority of the items have conversion rates lower than 500 isk/lp.

I do insist.

Insist on being amazed that anyone replied even halfway seriously, that is. Roll

Angel space is full of agents and stations, plus level 4 missions there pay out what double(?) the amount of ISK as in high sec. Other than that ship BPCs require no tags at all, they convert hundred thousand of LPs in one moment, thus they're a very easy conversion.

Another theory is that, with more carebears doing incursions instead of level 4 missions, there is less availability for the high-sec faction stuff and tags.

Therefore there is a price rise.

I suppose there is also the possibility that with incursions more people are buying fancy loot to get into the higher paying fleets. But I'm not particularly confident that this would contribute to the prices too much.

Then again I'm probably a ****** (edit, I said a bad word sorry, replace with "person with dubious intellect").

The null-sec faction stuff will probably go down in price when the area where the loot is farmed gets stable, so that the locals can carebear LP/ rat loot etc. and then pawn it in highsec. Note that Rattlesnakes and Gilas are some of the cheapest pirate faction ships and the Gurista areas have historically been a carebear haven.

multiple causes, biggest one is stealth nerf from the faction spawns in belts, that suppose to compensate the increased empire faction loot (ts hs vs iprnvy hs ect) but the tag issue was over looked.
