In the past there has been small amounts of free Eve merchandise, but only when someone from CCP or Eve TV has been involved.

In other news, Friday 27th is not a day I can get off work so if I attend it won't be until about 9-ish Sad

Saturday meets are so much better because of the all-day drinking opportunities.

Yeah, holding this on the Friday is a curious choice (not that I'd be able to make it on Saturday 28th either :/ ). Oh well.

Will be the first eve meet in London in years I've missed. Saturdays are much better for those of us that have to travel from outside London. Sad

My understanding of what was said at the UK Roundtable at Fanfest is that the choice of date for this event had to fit in with marketing activities already scheduled in, etc

Why on earth would you have the meet on a friday? and give less than 3 weeks notice, infact not even that, as nobody really knows where the meet would be

Travel and Accomodation are stupidly expensive with this much notice...

Think ill just wait for the next Veto London meet...

"PS. I'd like to draw your attention to a player gathering at Loose Cannon, 13-16 Allhallows Lane, The City, London, EC4R 3UL on April 27th at 19:00 (UK time). Nearest tube stations are Monument, Mansion House or Cannon Street. The gathering will be attended by CCP Unifex, CCP Soundwave and CCP Guard who will be talking about spaceships, the future of EVE and sharing pints."
