Spring/Summer release, did you know seasons are different in the "other" Hemisphere

I live in South Carolina where the seasons are less based on time of year, more on the level of humidity and the size of mosquitoes.

In some middle place, they dont even have Summer and Winter, they just have the "Wet" and the "Dry".

How about calling it the mid-year release ?

I can think of a lot of things that Australians and NZers should be bothered about, but no, let them get bothered by a season-based name of a software release.

Where I live, there are no seasons. There is only one season around Seattle: wet.

Top reasons to continue describing release timing based on northern hemisphere seasons

1) There are more important things to complain about
2) Everyone is white except the black slaves !?!
3) CCP wasnt talking to you anyway !
4) CCP hate other countries
5) In America, global countries dont think in global terms
6) My gramdma and spelling is different, everything else has to be different too.
7) Specifying year the year of twice yearly is all we expect.
8) Nothing exists over the horizon, it fell of the edge of the earth. (confirmed)
9) It would mean alcoholics cant drink at 9AM.

Its always amusing when people make this mistake. London has exceptionally low rainfall - lower in fact than virtually any major US city. Last I checked (for example) Dallas has 30% more rainfall than London. Edinburgh has even lower rainfall than London.

The west of the UK is where it rains, hence why there is currently a drought (hosepipe bans and water restrictions) in most of the East of England.

The point is, different cultures have different way of seeing things and you just end up saying them based upon where you are based. They are based up north in the frozen tundra (jk) that we call Iceland.

To be honest, they could use game industry standards if they wanted to .. Early/Mid/Late/Christmas - Q1-Q4.

Doesn't bother me really. Then again, summer is normal for me being in the US.
