I'm going to be disappointed if this expansion doesn't affect escalations in some way. Good, bad, or in-between. It would be like naming an expansion, POSes And then not altering any POS in the game, and instead adjusting hybrids and introducing a new module that turns the enemy ships blue.

I believe the last couple of expansions have added, increased or changed exploration content which includes escalations.

This next expansion is named 'Inferno' which is War based content, fixes, changes, etc.

Ok, I am not talking about the past, I'm talking about the future.Sure there has been stuff done positive in the past. What prompted this was I saw an add, and it didn't say Inferno: escalation begins April 24th like usual.

Instead it was "Escellations April 24th" Which naturally made me think, "Ohh....Ohhh. "

Yes, that's the place I was talking about. On that page you will find this quote, "Find how we're "kicking the ants' nest" in Escalation"

Ergo, everything I said.

edit- err one of the places I was talking about. But it was that page that inspired my post. Do you seriously not notice how Even though a technical reading reveals that Inferno is the actual expansion name, it is always Escalations that is treated as the expansion name. It's always, "When escellations comes out," Not "When the first installment of Inferno comes out."

Darn you. You're still in your racial Academy...

Just got kicked from my corp because my Minnie faction was bad enough to crush the corp's standing. Sigh, Ministry isn't so bad, but I really enjoy the atmosphere of the Newbie corp.

Yeah, poor choice of term used by CCP, very misleading.

It seems to me they're referring to the pre patch as 'Escalations' due to political tensions rising between the various Factions, basically resulting in escalation to war which will happen in the Inferno expansion. They could have called it 'Inferno Prelude' or something to that effect.

Last one was called Crucible. So, if i understood this right, then the crucible escalates into an inferno.

The title says Inferno:Escalation - which fits pretty nice.

Where's the problem?

Not really, escalation is the proper term they were going for, the buildup to the war changes in Inferno. It just happens that there is also something in Eve called 'escalations'. The OP failed to realize that 'escalation' and 'escalations' are not the same thing.

I'm inclined to agree with St Mio though, a well done troll.

Wow, that's the thanks I get for giving your character it's very first 'Like'?

Anyway, I wasn't trying to be clever by halfheartedly calling you a troll, I was trying to be polite. Besides, you and I both know that old habits are hard to break, right?

All kidding aside, you know damn well that I'll respond to any posted reply that's directed towards me personally, first by posting and then by reporting. For the record, I don't like nor am I going to do this dance with you again, even though you seem determined to do so. Just consider this a friendly warning to cease and desist.

Its quite clear you enjoy every moment of this. I have this distinct image of you doing a fair :smug: as well as you seem to think you have the upper hand.

I realize more than you realize. In fact, the whole point of my OP was that they were not the same thing, and they should be. So how could I not realize something I specifically called to attention?
