I for one welcome our Japanese overlords.

By the way, Japanese women are the most beautiful in the world. Seriously.

In reality, we know nothing and being that these guys may have nothing to start with vs established Alliances with: Cap fleets, Moon Goo, people with fleet experience, allies to draw upon...japanese got nothing but a different time zone and a language barrier that makes it difficult to infiltrate upon (both into japanese and non-japanese player corps) plus many of them will be years behind what the other estabilished alliances have.

So who really cares. Map will probably not change, goons haven't change in the last two years and at best...they just got more asshat immature Roll

Don't be so pessimistic, they might turn out to be great friends. I mean, at least titans can't just aoe doomsday their first fleet or blap everything to death the moment they start putting up a CSAA.

Ok, I don't really know about the second one. I guess 30 titans could still do that. Depends on what they bring out I suppose. One could try subcaps, we know how balanced those are ... (or cynojammers, you can't jam a titan, but you can jam its cyno).

Real countries and political disputes have no place in EVE.

I would love to have some hardcore Japan gamers in my corp!

The Japanese are coming, does this mean more AU TZ action?

MMOs come and go, but Eve remains.  -Garresh-

As you interact with more of our new Japanese brethren in the EvE universe, you would do well to remember the sage words of Uncle Benny:

New Alliances form and head out to null sec to try conquer it, yet we always see the same few alliances dominate.

Fact: no we don't

Look at the political map from, say, 2 years ago.

Look at it today

Much more of it has changed than has stayed the same.

Sayanora suckers. American corps would stab each other in the backs thinking that's the intended function of a "good" alliance.
You ain't lived till you been owned by a squad of Japanese gamers. Enjoy your "paradises" while you still have them.

Your stations are belong to US.

Paradise is like where you are right now, only much, much better.

On one hand, you've got a localized client. Big help for Japanese players

On the other hand, now you have to deal with the absolute worst in MMO companies, Nexon. I hope they only lose players for this. Hopping into bed with Nexon is a bad sign for the entire company.
