Hello,

First off thanks for what is proving to be a very handy mod. Much kudos!

Unfortunately I think I am being a bit of a plonker in setting up and confiiguring the Jabber extension.
I have set it all up and it correctly calls the groups from the Openfire server, but as other people are experiencing I never get any users created. The user service mod is added to openfire and enabled and I can manually add a user with a manual running of the URL.

Am I right in thinking I may need to call extra cronjobs for this to process?
How do people call the cronjobs for the TEA apps? Running from console ends in an annoying "hacking attempt" error.


So I'm at a bit of a dead end.

Could someone explain how you run your TS3 and Jabber cronjobs?

I have an older version of TEA we are using now for jabber and it works great but id like to update and possible use it for ts aswell my dev is gone is anyone here offer install services?? eve mail me please willing to pay ofc

when running the cron job I'm getting the following errors

[27-Jan-2012 10:00:23] PHP Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /home/******/public_html/Sources/TEAC.php on line 518

Any idea what this means?

So, we installed the TEA module which is working great but there are a couple of workaround issues that we need to fix and I'm wondering if anyone has figured it out.

1. On the TS can you use the regular permission settings to let neuts log in under a password and be restricted to one channel for let's say interviews or general banter?

2. The forum is not recognizing blues or reds. API is set from the executor corp CEO and still nothing.

3. On the forum what rule setup did you use to separate certain boards by roles such as an only CEO board and a Director/CEO board?

4. For the Jabber plugin what mobile phone apps are you using to link it with iProducts or Android?

Running TEA 1.3.0 r169 on SMF 2.0.2, I am unable to get the "get characters" button to function.

The solution is as follows:

1. Install Temars mod as normal.
2. After install, go the root folder or your webserver.
3. Navigate to the "TEA" folder.
4. Change file permission on "TEA_xmlhttp.php".
5. By default permission are 666, change to 644.

I'm currently running Version TEA 1.3.0 r169 is there a later dev version out? I'm using this with openfire and teamspeak 3 and for some reason (not sure if its implemented) but its not removing users from openfire after they leave or become neut / reds. Any Ideas?

I'm willing to pay for someone to help me create a cron for openfire or if it has one to fix it please contact me.

I have the same issues as some above with the Jabber.

I have the user service installed and enabled
Configuration sees the group
Users are not created in the database

Has anyone found a solution to this as I'm at my wits end with it?

Also I noticed the last update to the svn was 125 days ago. Did the dev give up on this?

Whenever I run a full member check, I always get "No Match" for every rule. None of my rules seem to be work? All groups are set to be monitored, and the rule is set up as

IS => Alliance: 99000740 (Bipolar Stability)

EDIT: resolved.

Is there an option to run TEA standalone from SMF - in case if I need separate script just for TS3 and Jabber with a simple web front-end.

Hey,

Installed TEA forum stuff works fine asigning the TS groups works too. But it does not fix the name stuff (#ct#...)
After adding my TSuniqID i get the correct group asigned but the name is still the old foo manual entered....

What needs to be done to make TEA set the corp tags? any suggestions?

And what about the cron stuff in the TEA folder do i have to setup an entry in the cron?
If i call them by hand i get errors...

I have a problem.

Gave the appropriate key.
Kalstrams -> Bloodbound
Alt -> NPC corp

The problem is, that main rule :
1 B IS => Alliance: 730902128 (Bloodbound.) Bloodbound. AND

Fails to assign me group 'Bloodbound.'.
After full check it says:
Checked: 1 / 1
Name Main Group Additional Groups
Kalstrams Not Monitored

Maybe you have ideas how to fix that ?

Update: Temprorary fixed by making role not main, yet still curios why main rules fails

Once again great thanks to Temar for this wonderful time saving tool.

I have a question regarding TeamSpeak usage:

With the options Incorrect Name Warning and Incorrect Name Kick after x Mins enabled, is it possible to change the notification sender? Since I am main server admin of the TS server, the Incorrrect Name Warning messages appear with me as sender so the logged on clients always think it is me sending this message. : ) Is it possible to modify this somehow to make it clear that this is a server generated message?

Thankful for any assistance!
