Regarding me shamefully crawling back to EVE.

Since i did a "I'm leaving forever" thread it's only fair i suck it up and make a returning thread like this. I've been avoiding oope out of shame. Which probably seems silly, but i'm an extremely silly person sometimes

It was the last fanfest which inspired me to return, and their renewed commitment to 'excellence'. They certainly seem to be putting more work into the game now, which is very good to see. With more staff and more effort, their grand plans for the future seem like they might actually happen now. I'm also extremely impressed to see them shaking things up as much as they are in nearly every aspect of the game. That's exactly what New Eden needs

Anyway, many of you probably don't care. Maybe even all of you don't care. I notice lots of familiar faces are gone even after just 6 months. But there it is.

Link your original thread rage quit thread.

I'm also curious to why people need to announce their departure and arrivals? This has got to have something to do with narcissism or not enough direct attention as a child.

I'm seriously curious to the intent or motivation behind them.

There was no real rage. So i linked a song at the end for anyone who felt it lacked drama.

Adios - KMFDM

I hope that does it for you.

I was very active on the forums for years. Got to know and like many people, so i just thought i'd say thanks for the memories and g'bye. I truly believed i was done with the game.

Not everything has to be ego driven, but you might find that hard to believe.

Oh, and the reason i felt the need to talk about everything CCP is doing right now, is because i was one of the more vocal people with concerns about the future of the game. Made a thread on the professor which kind of took off. So i hope a CCP dev might read it and smile for a moment before going back to listening to complaints.

Suppose the context matters... You made it seem as if it were an epic "FU CCP this games == failz and I willz lulz" kinda thread which are of course common place.

One thing to say audios. Quite another to through a tantrum upon exiting...and many never actually quit just say they are and then continue to spam the damn forums with whines.

Nah, i was just making fun of myself for making a thread suggesting i was probably not coming back, then coming back.

Felt weird appearing back on the forums again without explaining myself, so i thought i'd just drop this here for posterity. Like i already said, don't really expect many people to care, but it'll make me feel like things are sorted out now, somehow.

I'm sure many of us (me at least) have had those emo moments where we go "the world is going to end, EVE is turning into **** and the DEVS are stupid. Time to QUIT!" moments. I've been going from rage quit to rage quit really.

Bit of a dichotomy or hypocritical in such cases then? (Im not being a **** im posing a question actually)

What I mean in true eve fashion you need to tell people off for QQ'ing.
Yet now you say simultaneously an eve'er should be a PITA.

Does this mean in our own rage threads we should also tell ourselves to HTFU?

indeed that's the case.
