I think it uses eve-central data dumps or something similiar. From what I understand, that is about the only way to get market info, there is no "up-to-date" out of game market that tracks the market that closely, it will always be somewhat out of date. (If there is a tool to get up-to-date ingame market data, someone please share the secret with us.)

If the pricing is that particularly important you can choose to "Enter Prices" and manually input any price for items you'd like.

Keep in mind, Jita Mineral prices have been going nuts with speculation the last few days/week changing very quickly.

Yeah I use eve central. Eve marketeer seems to be a good product if you want to double check but I haven't noticed a huge difference. Plus, I really don't want to re-write that part of the program. My suggestion to you though is to use the unified uploaded from eve marketeer. That utility is really great. It updates eve central, eve market prices, and eve marketeer at the same time. Runs in the background and requires very little setup. This will really help in having up to date prices.

Basically all I did was select ice and hit calculate, which then crashed the program.

If you need any other info let me know. Pretty amazing program overall. It doesn't appear to have a refining calculator though. Obviously the ISK per hour under the mining tab ould change quite a bit if it factored in the fact that the ore would get refined once brought back to the station, or am I missing something?

Yeah, figured this out. It's because you probably have a ship selected other than one that can fit ice lasers. Select a ship (or change skills to give you a ship to select) and then a mining laser to use to calculate. I'll get this fixed so it's more automatic and doesn't leave it empty to cause this error.

I cannot fly a Hulk. But on the mining tab, I want to calculate isk per hour with a Hulk for mining things. Even when I override my skills to be all-level-5 (via the checkbox, which seems to uncheck itself next time I go back to character skills menu) I cannot select Hulk as a mining ship option. I set mining / astrogeo as L5 on mining tab already.

How do I select Hulk?

Hey zifran, really nice program you made :)

I have a problem though... as I cannot install it. It keeps saying that the Windows Installer Service could not be accessed. Tried to repair it / restart it (the service) and nothing changed.... Is there something wrong with the executable (as I can install any other programs on my pc atm with no problems) or is it something else ?

If you do not update all prereqs the program is defaulting back to the API skills. (Tried setting invention skills that my alt has that my main doesn't and it reverted back on me).

On the SVR, yeah I'm getting this too. I'll check on EVE Marketeer and see what's up.
