Hi all,

I'll start off with a silly joke to make the starting point clear:
Isn't there a faster way to Europe?
We can try to swim faster

In the case of Mittani, he had the solution to make EVE online more interresting by being more badassed. His great example being Band of Brothers which he no doubt romanticised.

So where did that come from, Mittani's search for a solution to make EVE the interresting game in the image CCP has of what EVE should be?

Right, in the image of CCP. There are plenty of instances where CCP has tried to give player the psychological insentive to make EVE online a more warlike character, without thinking that what they used were the tiny bits of insanity everyone has, but never are a problem until abused. In Mittani's case, they accepted his limited intellect sollution of swimming faster ... being more of a baddy. Same as comparing the peacelike state of EVE with that bit of insanite ... of being compared to being gay.
A game shouldn't be like this, where developers decide the game is complete, but the players not insane enough to **** each other, another insanity where you do not want people to cross that line in real life.

With this, I kindly request to help encourage CCP to stay away from things that make players (and Mittani) cross a line between sane and insane.
With this, I also ask you to help think of a game mechanic instead of a psychological coaxing that will give EVE the interresting war like state everyone can live with.

Please know, that even if CCP is to be the blame for Mittani's behavior, it still needs to be ended. More seriously than ending a kids pleasure in suckling his thumb. You do not want to carry behavior over to a point where you can't stop an adult from learned behavior.

I myself will quit this game, as for me, I doubt CCP will either accept the coaxing part or change their own learned behavior to solve a problem in a way that you don't want it to be solved. In other words, EVE will stay the insanity generator for no other reason than to create an interresting game.

Bullcrap.

We all get the same tools and opportunities.
It is US who decide how far we go. Not CCP. And it is US who have to take responcebility for our own actions.

Nobody put a gun to The Mittani's chest and forced him to be what he made out of himself. It was him deciding. Same for those who chose to follow him and those who oppose him.

There are just certain lines I will not cross at any price. Be it ingame or in real life.
My boundries are just a tad closer to home than some other people's boundries.

And some ofcourse have no boundries.

lol "badass". I would call an ex-LARPer who takes EVE as srs bsns and spams his twitter with QQs when he gets punished a lot of things, but "badass" ain't one of them.

I didn't realize getting apologies from the gaming media for lazy reporting and sensationalism was considered "QQing".
