Best way to track someone down?

Well title says it all really.

I'd like to find a few folks in high sec... Well I assume they are because their corp info pegs them in a certain area and they have a carebear track record.

The issue is I only high standings with one faction (amarr) and almost high enough (caldari) That however doesn't help me as I belive them to be in matar space. I also see that they use dec shields to avoid wars which leaves suicide ganking at this point in time.

So where does this leave me? Or what can I use to track down these SOB's?

Use locator agents.

Right but dont you need to be a specific standing?

Which means my options are to grind missions etc?

1. Higher level agents yield better results (ie, standings matter)
2. Hire someone with an L4 agent access to get the info for you. Drop me a mail in-game and I can help with that. :)

I see. Hmm me thinks they should change this. Should just have to pay more isk not grind every damn faction.

Or turn it into some sort of skill.

Thanks for the info just wanted to confirm my assumptions/hope there was another way or say track their last known where abouts through a site or something.

Holy shitballs batman. LVL 4 locator agents have unlimited range, so you don't need high standings with all 4 factions! I only have high standings with one corp, in amarr space, and I can find people anywhere in known space.

Maybe the problem is everyone assumed by your OP that you don't have access to LVL 4 agents, since it was easy to find out a locator agents range by a quick google search.

Use an Amarr locator agent.

You can use that to find the closest locator agent that will reach to them. L4 locators have an infinite range, and there are some Amarrian L4 locator agents in Minmatar space.

Needs to be in territory. Least that's the message I got when I did use the ones I have in amarr. (I knew the parties were in Gall space just not specific region at the time.)

Are you positive because I did use a lvl 4 amarr agent and they popped me the "Too far" message. Perhaps it was bugged. You also dont need to use google rather the in game agent finder... Just saying. Once again though I was hoping there were other methods.

Yep. By the way you will get a too far message or something to that effect if the toon is currently in a wormhole system.

Wormholes = bad sauce for locator agents...FYI otherwise should be infinite range.
