Loads up the launcher, I hit play, it shows the splash screen then goes back to the launcher

when the game finally loads (takes a while) the launcher is still open. It used to take significantly less time to load up after the splash than it does now.

Goons; infiltration at its best - first bob... now ccp itself. They dont realize you guys dot take this as "just a game". Bring it down guys, we're rooting for you.

Hi,

The client is loaded exactly the same way as before the Launcher was around. The only thing that has changed is that the splash screen is only shown for 5 seconds. Before the Launcher the splash screen would be around until the client started.

You can test this out by checking if there is a difference in the time it takes to start the client between you click Play on the Launcher and just double clicking the ExeFile.exe under the CCP\EVE\bin folder.

If you want the Launcher to close after you click Play you can configure it by clicking the little screw driver and spanner icon in the top right. Check out the tab "Startup"
