Nope, Gallente and blasters stuff did, and if that thread is not going up any more it's because almost everyone that posted in is already cross trained Drakes or Canes.
There are still nerds using gallente ships at gates and station undocks or just for ganking, nothing changes.

I feel for Mittens. While I've hated his attitude a while back during some fire side chats about mining in W-Holes, I completely understand people saying stupid crap while drunk. Its one of the reasons I try to avoid getting trashed anymore.

Sure, but you must have had things you said haunt you, too. Why should he get special treatment? It's just the way it is with the booze.

He was also a representative in a pretty public situation, so he should have exercised more caution. I've made a drunken goof of myself in game and on the forums a few times, but i'm just some random guy who only represents himself. I alone bear the weight of anything i say or do. Mittani, however, made EVE players and CCP look bad.

Like i've already said, though. Him being removed from the CSM and getting a 30 day ban is enough. This thread is just inane now. If people really care about this so much, wait for him in Jita. I know i'll be there.

I'm really confused right now. I see in dev blogs that The Mittani has been banned from CSM 6 and CSM 7, yet... there is that CSM banner on his avatar picture. So he is still on the CSM?

Would CCP please comment/clarify.
